i've never heard of Diana until today. i find it sorta comical that she used the Barbie font.
The translucent pink pumps are definitely cute. Certainly better than Barbie's "Daisy Duck" pumps that i cannot stand.
IKR! She gives zero fudges. I love the pink, yellow and blue colours they used. It looks like my childhood 😂 Oh! Definitely! I loved these shoes as a kid a remember looking through the contents of the vacuum cleaner a few times for them. I guess one day it was emptied before I got to it ❤️ Hope you are doing well 😊
I LOVE her face it’s so cute!! She was sold in the states as well, but under the name lovely patsy. But that doll, lovely patsy, had several faces lol 😂 such a wonderful video!! I always loved how your content wasn’t like just “new” types of dolls, but rather ones quite off the beating path. It introduces us all to a new doll who we may remember or maybe would like to have! I loved Barbie clones as a child, sometimes I even found them prettier! COULDNT click on the video fast enough:) also, thank you for the shout out! You are one of my biggest inspirations for my channel, so to get a shout out I’m shook!:) thank you:)

We had a a store called go-lo and they had a whole isle of various clone dolls and fashions. Thank you so much! I feel very basic in comparison to you 😂 But that's good! I love your videos and they came at a time I was starting to feel starved for good videos to watch. Oh! I loved my "Girl Club" clone better than Barbie for as long as I could remember ❤️ I see it more as me talking about a friend 😂🤷🏼♂️ But you're welcome. She was sold in the US as Diana too and how I know I bought a lot of Diana fashions that had BIG LOTS price tags that said 99 cents (and this was a DOLLAR TREE doll from the 90s too) and the quality of the fashions is AMAZINGLY GOOD compared to majority of Mattel and other major toy companies doll fashions
Never heard of Diana but quite nice for what looks like a budget line
She was one of the better ones and just as cheap. Sandi was the best quality clone doll I remember though but she was a little more pricey. Thank you ❤️

Interesting clone! I like her very retro ponytail and bangs! I had a 'Diana' clone in the 70's but she was really different of course. I think she was a rip-off of the mid 70's TNT faced Barbies, from memory? At first sight, I thought she was very 'Totally Hair' of course! But I also really see 90's Sindy in her, too (which of course, was also a clone of Barbie by then, unfortunately!) LOVE the brunette version! That yellow fuzzy minidress reminds me of some Gianni Versace made in the mid 90's using a similar fuzzy yellow fabric with a gold leather trim. I also love those blocky open toed sandals on her ... They look like they would stay on better! LOL
Hiya Spagbol! ❤️ Yes, she was around for a while and changed over the years. She does look very Sindy. I wonder if that was intentional. Perhaps they thought they'd be placed closer to Sindy than Barbie? Ooh! I need to see these Versace dresses! Oh! Those shoes DO stay on, but they look awful and leave the feet with indentations. I think they were actually designed to stay on.
The 1984 Japanese Barbie might be a good color match for Diana. She seems plentiful and affordable on eBay.
The neck joint would be different though. Do you know of a way to fit ball joint heads on the rotation barbie neck joint?
Diana is cute! I didn't have her as a child, I don't think she was even around back then. I don't remember seeing her in stores in the 90s either. My favorite clone doll from my childhood was the Charly doll by Durham. I always thought she was so pretty, but different from Barbie. Her body proportions were better than a lot of the other clone dolls as well.
Thanks! ❤️ I love her droopy eyes 😂 I wish I knew more about her such as how many were made etc. They aren't super budget so i'm sure there must be some kind of documentation. She was around for a while and even had fashions. Aww! I love Durham Charly! She's super cute but VERY cheaply made. I've had a few over the years. I finally found one with bendable legs etc. But she's still fragile and I try not to move her around too much.
She looks like a 90s sindy doll I think. You unbox dolls I've never heard off from the 90s . I will say knock of 90s are better quality than some mainline dolls we see now

Hi. I have never heard of this doll, not sure if she was released in the U.S. It's always great to find a childhood doll. Nice video.

Big Lots had them, they had tons of the fashions. The shamelessness of that logo always perturbed me.

For the wornout elastic I sometimes just put a rubber band on top of the fabric usually in a coordinated color so it is not noticeable... Works a treat and zero effort! :D
I also prefer playing with vintage budget dolls they have so much personality and they're not what EVERYONE and their sister has and posts over and over constantly!

I'm not sure what to do with my hair 😂🤷🏼♂️ I love this sweater but never wear it so I thought I'd pull it out for a video 😊 Oooh, that's an interesting idea! And much easier. I may do that until I get around to sewing the elastic. Exactly! They are more interesting! Thank you 💕💖💕

Diana is wearing a rip-off of the Barbie Sweetheart or I L(heart)ve Barbie from a while back. All these nice clones all deserve to be taken out and nicely dressed as they are valid to the collector in their own right. In the same way, a rare boyfriend should be restored and preserved for future collectors. Thank you.
