I really appreciate this video. Just finished replacing the CMOS battery using this, and it works fine :) may have slightly bent the metal cover covering the motherboard and put it back together missing a few screws, but it holds together well lol One thing that confused me was when you were putting the fan back into the console. 20:50 It looked like you screwed it in a place I don’t remember there being a screw, unless I just missed something?
Nice cleaning video! Love how you do it pricisely!. I have exactly the same model as you. I think there are plenty differences between the japanese PS2 and other region, like the PSU position, slightly bigger heatsink and lower power consuption
Thank you. I’m actually working on another 50000 model right now. I’ll post the video soon. I like how easily they come apart. The most fiddly part is the fan connector. They are always stuck together. Having never taken apart the US version I will take your word for the differences. Even compared to the 30000 models, there are many differences. @@xxaryamahardika6671 the Zen Black model is SCPH-37000. The SCPH-50000 shell is see through, but not rare like the Zen Black edition.
