It still hasn't sunk in for me here in London that Warnie is gone. Ah, it hurts like hell. I've been alive now for 3.5 decades and haven't seen such mourning for any player in the UK press, let alone an Aussi. He truly was bigger than life and we are mourning over this loss as if we lost one of our own. It's so hard to process the emotions of losing someone with the Aura of Warnie, someone who felt invincible and yet so humane when you talk to him. I hope you're having one hell of a party mate wherever you are. You'll be sorely missed not just in Australia but here in the UK, India, West Indies and South Africa as well. Hell, even my American friends heard about you through your exploits in Golf and were shocked. The only silver lining though is that you lived life on your terms and even though it was much too short, you did more in one lifetime than what anyone would do in 10. Everyone dies one day..but not everyone lives. You lived life, king size! Rest in peace, king! Gone too soon...💔💔💔💔💔
Lost a true genius legend More over personality I’m English but watch cricket because of this man made the game entertaining not just thru skill but charisma rip lost a great
That's why he is a Legend. It is not just about the wickets. It is the way he sets them up. Basit Ali's wicket was a prime example. I felt the same about Basit Ali when he played against India.
There are two pairs in the history of world cricket perhaps would never exist in the future cricket in a single era. Sachin / Lara and Murali / Warne. The era was gifted to see these 4 greatest ever players to keep pushing the limits in their own disciplines. Both pairs had such amazing stats plus amazing moments they created in games that unbiased viewers found it difficult to differentiate. somehow Warne and Sachin had more media, branding, and hype created for them cos of where they came from. I'd love to see more such pairs popping up in cricketing world!!
Warne is a character that the game needed. It was not about talent alone. It is guys like Warne, KP and Kohli that makes the game interesting. Everyone will agree that Lara was as good a batsman as Sachin. Sachin is praised for the quantity of runs and Lara for the quality of runs. With regard to Murali and Warne, I think you can't put them together. Warne is a competitor who never gives up. He makes things happen. Like 96 WC SF, 99 WC SF and Final.
There are several bowlers I would not want to bat against like Michael Holding, Curtly Ambrose Joel Garner, and Patterson, etc. from WI teams back in the days of their greatness, Dennis Lilley AU, Shoaib PK, and Shane Warne. But Warne would top my list just because he could make you look so silly with those epic crazy spins that comes from Australia but winds up in Alaska. I could watch some of his spins over and over and be amazed each time. He was truly gifted with an insane ability.
Awesome memories flooding back after watching those clips. This probably doesn’t need to be said but there was quite often McGrath at the other end bowling maidens. Batting partnerships are easily identified and celebrated. But a bowling partnership? Warnie and McGrath formed by far the most successful bowling partnership of all time, most likely never to be challenged.
Warne's touched another of people,I grew up watching him as the best in the world.Even got a t-shirt with a photo of him with Wizdary in the front.Would have love to meet him in person.RIP Champ.😭😭😭❤
The Gatting ball is the one that is always remembered but the most underrated was bowling Richardson with the flipper. It was early in his career and with years of wear and tear on his hand and shoulder pretty much could not replicate a flipper that was so devastating. That he has so many other variations (and kept working on more through his career) was what made him one of the greats. Shame he died like Elvis.
IMO Shane Warne was the greatest spin bowler ever. But people forget he was also a very good fieldsman and handy with the bat. In fact I think Warney, if he had put a bit more focus into his batting, could have made a few centuries. The guy could play, no question.
The good people tend to g o early.rip Warnie.always knew he was a great spinner but looking back at what hes done along with the tragic early exit had only amplified his amazing talent like hendrix..Joplin etc..what a great cricketer from a fan In melbourne.
A Absolute Legend!! Didn't like you when you were playing aginst Sri Lanka......For obvious reasons.....😉....Even......most of the Sri Lankans.....Admire you as the Greatest Spinner of All time. Secretly.....🤫.......Shhhhhhu......Hats off Warni. 👌👍
Yeah warnie wasn't bad. 😂😂😂. Great cricket brain loved a contest and was exciting to watch. It'll be a very long time until we see another warnie again. Thanks warnie
yh mate no offence it's a bit stupid to call a cheat on this one but that was most certainly no tampering trust me. I play county cricket and over the last five years I have been very successful with legspin and i can say that yes the foot marks and rough patches help but they are not done intentionally by the bowler at the other end.
LOL! :) And if you notice the ball also has lost its shine which helped it turn more. I am sure someone tampered with it as well to make it rough. May be it was the same bloke. The bowler from the other end :D
yes someone did rough up those patches for him, he's called the bowler at the other end. have you not noticed this happening in just about every cricket match since the dawn of time. What a plonker.
So a player offering him money to fix a match = bad, but a bookie offering him and Mark Waugh money for team selection info and a pitch and weather report = good.
he is not the greatest spinner of all time lol. he played with a such a good aussi team and managed to get most of the tailenders. If you compare his stats with Murali u can see who is greatest of all time. Plus murali is such a legend inside and outside of the game. never took drugs and you always see him smiling.
The good people tend to g o early.rip Warnie.always knew he was a great spinner but looking back at what hes done along with the tragic early exit had only amplified his amazing talent like hendrix..Joplin etc..what a great cricketer from a fan In melbourne.

Freek, legend, genius, I'm shattered, can't imagine how his family and friends are doing.
Thanks Warnie, just thanks mate...

You gotta love Shane Warn, absolute legend. Only the good die young ❤
RIP Shane! Sadly will be missed. Gone way too soon! Condolences to your family. You are unique and won’t be forgotten!!

padmarley Wasim Waqar , Walsh and Ambrose also
Murali? You kidding? The only player ever given permission by the ICC to chuck!!
Ponting was better than Lara or Tendulkar. Better batsman, better fielder, better captain
@@ray.shoesmith 🤣🤣🤣

So amazingly good. My god why did this happen like this, soo many of us are soo upset. RIP S. K . WARNE
He is in the league of the greatest artists the world has seen, right there with the Vincis and the van Goghs
Miss u warnie we lost a cricket legend 😭

The Einstein of cricket bowling. ,lara is the genius batting.

my inspiration
Rest in Peace, Legend.
🏆🥇🏆
Flippen Brillant!
nice pun

I seriously regret his dismissal on 99 on a No-ball. It is Destiny.

RIP great man
Could watch him bowl all day long ❤️

Yeah warnie wasn't bad. 😂😂😂. Great cricket brain loved a contest and was exciting to watch. It'll be a very long time until we see another warnie again. Thanks warnie
The flipper was almost a ball that was a guaranteed wicket every time.
আমার পছন্দের সেরা একটি বলার
Shane Warne 💝💝💝💝
Love YOU Shane Warne
Love you💝💝💝
❤
wow!!great!!
Yep!
Rip king
Bowling shane
are you alive?
And at the time he is yet to bowl those deliveries to Andrew strauss.
Imagine surviving the relentless line and length of McGrath in one over and then having to face the man who ate all the pies.

Riche: He's done him between the legs😂. No offense meant.
LOL! :)
And if you notice the ball also has lost its shine which helped it turn more. I am sure someone tampered with it as well to make it rough. May be it was the same bloke. The bowler from the other end :D
yOU MAY BE RIGHT
The 10:50 was the best ball
how
Yes I agree with you
It looks like a flipper legspin. More turn more speed
Brilliant keeper who was keeping 🤣🤣🤣
btw that 7-52 against west indies was the first time since 1936 that a leggie had taken 7 at the mcg
Uses the rough area of piches
He didn't scrub them. Did you ever watch cricket before
Wasn't this way back in 2011
I'm 10 years late.
Fun fact: chanderpaul and Carl Hooper are from Guyana 🇬🇾
Even Goochs' war - winning moustache couldn't save him from the blonde bamboozler
yes someone did rough up those patches for him, he's called the bowler at the other end. have you not noticed this happening in just about every cricket match since the dawn of time. What a plonker.
If he is the king of spin, Murali is the empire of spin
King rules the empire
So a player offering him money to fix a match = bad, but a bookie offering him and Mark Waugh money for team selection info and a pitch and weather report = good.
See my leg spin bowl
Hmm. Shattered
The greatest drug dealer of all time!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, should he be match fixing instead? Like certain other country's.
Copy
Warne stop bragging
he is not the greatest spinner of all time lol. he played with a such a good aussi team and managed to get most of the tailenders. If you compare his stats with Murali u can see who is greatest of all time. Plus murali is such a legend inside and outside of the game. never took drugs and you always see him smiling.
Don't forget. He's a chucker too.
zero///
THE JEALOUSY YOU CAN'T CONTROL,MUST MAKE YOUR LIFE A MISERY,,,,,,
Murali got most of his wickets against minnows like Bangladesh, Jimbawe. He got 175 wickets against minnows Warne 17, now you got your answer.
Ridiculous statement. Warne: 42% (328 test wickets) were batsman from positions 7-11; Murali 45% (361 wickets)
@@WhatTheGaming-d2p So you are an expert on bowling actions and rules? If ICC cleared him (after many tests), who are you to call him an chucker?
Look at that fucking earring, what is he a pirate?
yep, a plonker indeed lol
God of Spin Muralitharan says Hi
Just tell him that no one in the universe heard it.
