We were part of a tour that pre-booked all shore excursions for us. I would guess that you could book the bus through the customer service desk at Princess Cruises if your ship is docking in Victoria, BC.

How long does it take to thr garden from the port

It takes about 45 minutes to travel from the port to the Butchart gardens by bus.
