*These people evacuated an entire ICU within 5 minutes? I am in complete awe…* 😳
amazing
Likely an embellishment. This is a free advertisement and pitch to future investors, all in exchange for a few minutes of footage.
yeah, I thought hospitals had their ICU's packed with COVID patients...only 2 ventilated...oops, busted that narrative
@@lkd06 a disaster happened and you're making shit up because of 2 brain cells?
Eve Vanoverberghe where is this at?
Hats off to the awesome staff at Avista hospital you guys did an amazing job!!! It's not like Covid was enough, you had to deal with a wildfire. Love and Peace to all of you.
Only 2 on the vent. Despite what the libs think!!!
The plandemic is making them bank.
Wow they really took care of their patients, God bless them all ❤️
Yes we have a great I am that watches over us. Thankful for men and women that show they have compassion for the ill among us. Praise God for their quick response to the situation. We need to be praying like never before. Time for this planet is running out but a new heaven and earth is sure to come.
A shoutout to all in Environmental Services, we don’t hear enough praise of all you have done through this virus nightmare, and you clean up after these climate events as well. Thank you!
Heart and soul of a hospital and or any working environment.
The bubonic plague, Malaria, measles, mumps, chicken pox, have never been eradicated.
Those who clean the schools, businesses, restaurants and hospitals are important to preventing the spread of diseases.
Employers and school nurses send people home until they feel better. If you visit the doctor, they didn't do testing to verify your illness. They just checked your vitals and give permission for you to return to school or work.
The doctor gives you antibiotics if you have symptoms of an infection or send you to the hospital if you need IV or ventilator.
You never get immunity from anything.
Very true, excellent point! Thank you Tech's ❤️🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
I agree
@ Until it happened to you.
And with so many of your mindset, probably nobody would care.
Facility people are often taken for granted working in the background, but it is people like this that keep our world running.
People need to remember to turn off air if a fire threatens. Embers can be sucked into their structures.
Homes are frequently lost to embers in the birdblock and burning the roof out from the inside. Radiant heat draws air (and embers) into the screens on the bird block and then ignites the wood. Why flame resistant soffit covers are important.
Thank you for sharing. We healthcare workers go through training for what we expect are all situations, but there is no way to know what would happen in a real emergency such as this. Keep documenting for other hospitals' emergency protocols across the country so they can take note of best practices. You may just save more lives.
WOW! Great job Hospital workers! And if it did that to the hospital....even if your house didn't burn you probably have tremendous smoke damage.
Thank you for going into action, and sharing this. Praise God all are well there.
Yes praise God from whom all blessings flow. Thankful to see a hospital that puts patient safety as top priority.
As always true everyday heroes!!
Thank you for sharing this video. We are so thankful that the Lord answered all of the prayers and protected the hospital and everyone in it. The staff did excellent work! God bless you all. Prayers.
What about the prayers for the people who died? Those prayers exist too and they weren't fulfilled. Those prayers weren't answered. I mean, there were just one or two, but people WERE praying for them... In all these disasters, I see that the prayer offerers are very VERY cherry-pickin' about, laik, well THESE prayers were answered and so God is awesome ALLELUIA and we're gonna write comments all over youtube about it, while... those other prayers were NOT answered and that person died buuuut we just won't address that. As someone who prays but in a different relational posture, I'm genuinely puzzled by the celebratory and explicitly transactional focus on the prayers that "worked" while ignoring those prayers that "didn't work".
@@bmolitor615 It ain't easy, but you did a helluva job putting an eye roll emoji into words. My relational posture has slumped towards more of a slouchy droop, but my prayers were laser focused on and for you as I took it all in. Musta felt good to get it all out. Namaste, or whatever...
@@letsbereasonablefergawdssake uh huh, and what about those unanswered prayers?

That was seriously close to having the O2 going up. Hooary to all for helping in the save the day!!! Heros! AMAZING!
Wow good job everyone fighting to keep the hospital
Hero's for sure. Maine here saying, thank you and beyond great job!❤️🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
So sorry but glad the hospital & patients & staff are okay!
Outstanding job!
I ran a kitchen at a hospital years ago, most do not realize the prep and training that hospitals go through for disasters. It takes a lot of time and work, just the inventory alone was a pain, basement with tons of water and supplies, pantry with products set aside just for emergenices and having to be constantly monitored and rotated out. That is just the kitchen part of everything, now add in the rest of the hospital....
All of you are heroes!
Glad everybody safe. Hope some volunteers show up to help clean
It took a team
Amazing. Good job.
Great job!
Good work people. God bless you all.
May God protect people who have lost their homes!
God bless you Adventist front-line people-for Covid _and_ wildfires. 💛🙏🏼
Good job fellas!!
Well done!!
Y’all ROCK!!
Excellent job.
There should be a masonry wall around that oxygen tank. I don't know how that "enclosure" ever passed inspection by JCAHO or the local jurisdiction.
Is this an SDA Hospital? Way to go guys!
Yes they fall under the Mid-America Union conference

This morning I woke up and as I walked out to front porch I smell something burning in the air , I even asked my mom if she smelled it she said yes and told her it most probably from Colorado fires I figured if winds were registered at 120 mp same as hurricane there's a huge possibility smoke reached US east coast and I live in Miami Florida .
Probably not. I'm 3 miles upwind and never smelled it. The snow moved in overnight. At least the air quality hasn't been awful like the summer fires are. 😔
That’s nuts!
i've always wondered why arent o2 tanks underground?
Why? Until now hospitals were not threatened by the intense fires that are becoming more common. So maybe they will start thinking about that option which was never an issue before.
There wasn't as much risk as they want you to believe. First of all those are stainless steel lines, so it takes time to affect them even with DIRECT flame impingement, second the grass around the tanks WASN'T directly up against the Lines, vaporizer, etc., and it was SHORT. Even thought the wind may have pushed the flame front far out ahead of the grass, possibly reaching the tank, the duration of that flame would have been very short due to the lack of fuel (grass) to keep it going There simply would not have been enough heat energy for a long enough period of time close enough to the equipment to even burn the paint. Most hospitals don't even have mowed grass around their tanks, nothing but brick, block or pavement, likely near a loading dock, wildfire just isn't a threat to 99% of them.
Yah's Grace upon them!
Calvin putting in that filter work! Wish I was there getting dirty with y'all. John Sacket chose the correct site on top of the Hill!
I wasn't born in this hospital, but after I was born, I was moved to this hospital's nicu.
It’s snowing now?
Yes!!
Hoorah!
🙆♂ What came through the window.? 1:31. / Vacuum what you can; and leaf blow through a painters trapped hall (wind tunnel control).
😮 2:18 "Dang! Your gonna have to power wash the intake too."
Moral of the story, invest in some quality filters!
They buy the best.
Kind of reiterates how stupid grass is. In these times of climate change we need to start rethinking this. Water, fertilizer, constant mowing with machines. Decorative hardscape should be our future, especially in a situation where you have flammable tanks in the vicinity
Yea climate change, you should really turn off that brainwashing box, here’s a clue H.A.R.P. Cloud seeding, electromagnetic waves,
Oh my good Lord. That was so dangerous. Thank God the oxygen tanks were not engulfed. Perhaps controlled fires in the fall would be a good idea?
At 11 seconds in what are those two white discs in the sky on the left side?
the lights in the ceiling of the room the person is filming from.
Wow.
Can you imagine all the toxic fumes getting into the atmosphere!
We should collectively pray that the power companies involved aren't held responsible like they were, purportedly, in Calif.. 🙏🤗💖
Pacific Gas & Electric failed to maintain above ground power lines that might have sparked fires that killed dozens and destroyed huge swaths of towns. DEW might also have caused them. PG&E was sued and paid $$$$. Now, power is cut with every breeze >10mph!
You guys are amazing to have to have dealt with this. Absolutely amazing. I love Coloradans. (well, minus crazy Boebert).
Scorch marks up to the tanks sent a chill
Sounds like individuals knew how to handle fire the right way and did the right things... 😄😄😄😄😄😄 people would be really surprise what can happen with the right individuals, bad issues can become safer with the right people....
Gob Blessed those who keep his Sabbath !
Much of the Adventist beliefs are based on squirreled up mans teaching, but the Sabbath part they have right.

This fire has a very unfortunate name. Not only is this part of CO my old stomping grounds, and very sad to see the suffering and loss, but the cherry on top, they decided to name the Marshall fire.. thanks that's, awesome :/
I heard somewhere that this was blamed on global warming ...... I dont see a guard on that huge fan either

"...oxygen doesn't burn.....much"
@@daviddou1408 it would take a lot of heat for hours in order for the tank to rupture and explode(😅). Thats why they didn't evacuate the hospital. And oxygen is a oxidizer so it speeds up oxidation in the right conditions.
Tractor and plow+grass fire= no more grass fire.
In 100+ mph winds = exploded tractor, incinerated operator, and continuing grass fire.
Relying on a tractor as your escape plan + wall of fire that can move over a mile a minute = a bad day
Tractor & plow do no good when no one knows proper mitigation techniques for around their homes & track homes(built alike in the masses like these neighborhoods) are honestly made of some of the cheapest materials on the marke...Add fire, drought & 110mph winds to this equation = exactly what happened here. Guess the quarter to half million dollar home with next to no yard & neighbors way to close for my liking isn't such a great choice after all.
Has anyone noticed that all the brick & mortar buildings are still standing?? There's a reason for that?!
You want to plow the entire front range? 🤨
We built this city
You haven’t seen anything yet.
God protected the hospital.
Fires burning buildings is funny
Memo to the hospital PR person, landscape mode is your friend. This is not TikTok.
Someone has to be doing this intentionally. These winds are nothing new to this part of Colorado. Heck, NOAA has been documenting 85+ winds in this area since the 70's. I can't imagine that suddenly powerlines are failing due to these winds. IF that's the case, we need to establish a governmental mandate to remove all powerlines from regions all across the country. Yeah, right.
It’s most likely gotta be a time traveler.
He/she is intentionally trying to get his
/her life back (the right way) and in doing so, it’s been ruining our reality.
There’s been way too many glitch in the matrixes for it to not be a possibility.
Exactly
@@joywest8411 DEWs?
What's that?
Colorado has a LONG history of wildfires with various causes. Black Tiger Fire, Haymen Fire, High Park Fire, Waldo Canyon Fire, Black Forest Fire and on and on, all made worse by the winds. Long ago Cripple Creek burned down and was rebuilt.
Population of CO in 1970 2.5 million. Population in CO today 5.7 million. Yea. Cant grasp whats different. I mean EVERY year there are winds there should be massive fires. S Fucking idiot.
Anyone seen the two UFO looking objects on left top of the fire?
That is likely lights reflecting off the glass. Recessed lighting in some office of the hospital.
