@Harvey Jacoby i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
They should have access to design engineers to help them implement their inventive ideas for what is needed to help fight the fires. They have a collective body of intellectual property worth billions. Wish I could talk to them. What's wrong with opening some bottles of nitrogen that the welders use to weld with. As long as the wind is blowing why not make it blow out the fires instead of just feed oxygen to them?
In Europe fire fighters fight fire. I don't see that happening in this video until 4:01. Here these 'fire fighters' would be prosecuted for negligence.
Thierry Herreman wow that is harsh. You see one small window of the fight against the fire and assume you know best. If you listen to the firefighters at one point, they make decisions to let the fire burn itself out in certain situations. These guys have a wall of fire coming at them, and they are doing everything to protect the homes that they can save, putting their lives at risk. Heroes. Shame on you.
Yes, is a very good one. The engineer on the truck should have increased the pressure for him to work safer. in fires like this 150 PSI at the nozzle is better.
@@tanyab2646 I wouldn't say moron, but he's not going to put out a fire that intense with a 1.5 inch hose. The heat is far too intense. Assuming they only have water from the tank on their engine, I would have personally conserved that water to keep cooling the house down and let the brush burn around it. Spraying into the brush made for good TV, but you could see he made basically no impact with all the water he put on it. Save that water to cool the house and put out anything that lands on it, cool the sides, etc. And as for 150 psi at the nozzle, that isn't a "rule." Different nozzles operate most efficiently, and have the most water flow, at different pressures. The nozzle pressure should be whatever the specific nozzle calls for, not just 150.
It looked like he was fighting WITH the fire! Like squaring up to fight a person who is violent or something. Truly impressive. I suppose that's why they use the term "battling" and "fighting" a fire. This video sure looked weird tho, was this part of a training mission?
*Smart homeowner, he apparently learned what to do to increase the chances for the house to survive the fire. Sure, it looks horrible when every shrub and tree is cut down around a house, but it's worth it when it saves your home. You can always plant some new vegetation afterwards.*
That clearing also saved a bunch of firefighters from dying trying to save someone's house. Amazing how few homeowners take that seriously. I would hate myself for the rest of my life if I didn't do it and men died because of it.
Hello friends neighbors. I'm from Russia. When I found out that there was a fire in California again, I was in shock. I do not know who is to blame for such a fire, nature or man. I want to express my condolences to those people who were left without a loved one, a dog, a car, a house, and so on. Good luck and peace.
zepbigfoot bearcove , when there’s a drought for years and years over thousands and thousands of square miles and laws stating how much water you can use , each land owner can only do so much and all the agencies involved don’t have the resources needed to keep up.... that’s reality! zepbigfoot bearcove it was causes by a campfire, which is why it's named the campfire. I agree with clearing brush and dead leaves but cutting trees down isn't going to help unless they're dead. Trees make oxygen which we need to breath, its not all about global warming.

I hope many people have a chance to see this video. This fire acts like it's very angry at those in its path. It wants to literally devour everything possible. The way it jumped that hill was really remarkable. Great camera work and God bless you for showing us what these firefighters are truly experiencing. Best coverage of that aspect of it that I've seen. Prayers for their safety and heart felt gratitude to them for doing the greatest job possible under such horrific circumstances.
The bravery firefighters have is almost unhuman. Thank you so much to all firefighters across the world, the admiration and gratitude I have for you is far to much of an amount to quantify in any language
I was assigned to 120+ wildland fires in my U.S. Forest Service career. I want to emphasize something the Cal Fire battalion chief said at the beginning of the video. He said something like we are going to put engines on the structures that are defendable. Land/home owners are responsible for establishing and maintaining defendable space around structures. With limited resources structures in an area are triaged and resources are not sent to properties where defensible space has not been established. These are tough decisions, but pretty obvious when you have to ignore some properties. The triaging not only includes how successful efforts to save a structure might be, but also the safety of firefighters as well. Structural protection is tricky enough as it is, but sending equipment on narrow roads to properties that have one narrow road or driveway accessing it with dense overgrown native and landscaped vegetation can be a death sentence.
@Ramen Lover Generally you don't want to put a true fireline around a structure or property. Defensible space is a method of modifying native vegetation and planting landscaping to slow the spread of a fire prior to it arriving at a structure. Firelines, where all vegetation is cleared down to mineral soil can't do the job alone without modifying/planting vegetation in a fire defensible manner. Exposed mineral soil is a potential accelerated erosion hazard that can damage structures eventually and cause a large number of other problems.
the thing i keep reminding myself as i watch these is that its morning, the sun is out, clear blue sunny skies, and it looks like nighttime. how scary.
It's always possible that, given the speed of fires and the abrupt wind changes, some people left for work in the morning not realizing that their house might be on fire that afternoon, and didn't know that their pets would be endangered. It's also possible that the dog panicked and escaped. My grandmother loves her dogs more than anything in the world, but when she had to evacuate her house earlier this year (Holiday Farm fire, she lives near Walterville), one of her dogs panicked and ran. She didn't have the fitness or time to chase after him. Thanks u fireman for saving lives and helping. A lot of California is evacuating and it’s so sad. I live in a total different state but still so scary!😭
David Bloyd it is too bad that California gets no snow, except in higher elevations in some places. I live in Ottawa, Canada and god knows I would love to give you some of ours, you get so sick of it by March. However, as it melts that much needed moisture slowly works its way into the ground helping keep drought at bay when we do have an awful, dry summer. Even then Ontario has battled forest fires but at least we are not a constant tinder box waiting to explode into flames. Take care California.
As An Australian i really feel for you guys right now.. I live in a bushfire prone area we get them every summer nothing more terrifying than raging bushfires (wildfires) .. Hang in there guys.
If that’s not a glimpse of hell I don’t know what is. Thank you everyone that’s serving their community, just signed up with a crew in Arizona and I’m excited and eager to help my community as well.

Luckily it poured rain later when we were cleared to go back to the house...poor little bugger showed up soaking wet and we took him in and cleaned him off. So yea its not always heartless owners

Marc D ok I can see doing that but even if we put my dog in a truck he would jump out because he is a very jumpy dog so we would have to like tie him down
If god is so loving and powerful to bless the firefighters why he did not stop the fire before taking these propruções?? Maybe just maybe... god loves to see, believers begging for help, even if it means dead for some.. ... Or maybe he does not even exis.
@Michael Richmond it happens like every now and then, we are starting to get brush fires more and more frequently, yesterday there was a brush fire in azusa, luckily we put it out

yea true i am australian and these fires are nothing and they make a big deal about it all i live in beechworth vic wich was about 10-20 km away from the fires and in 2009 when i was 2 black saturday was no more then 5 ks away.
@@colonelbeatson6027 yes Aussie fires are very bad buuut cali is worse. Bigger does not mean anything black Saturday was the largest fire ever and destroyed 3k structures in Austral but in Cali we have fires that have destroyed whole communities for example the camp fire that killed 83 people and destroyed 18k homes and businesses and destroyed 3 towns (concow, pulga and paradise) then we have the tubbs fire, destroyed 5k buildings in one night and that is more destructive then any fire in Australia’s history(I went thru the tubbs fire just FYI) then Santa Rosa got hit again after the tubbs fire just this year and that was the glass fire. So Australia has very big fires but you guys have more land then us so keep that in mind before you say your fires are worse
it was sad what happened in Australia, but to laugh at the fact that this still happened and affected many people is incredibly disturbing. Get help. This isn’t a joke.
And People think they do not need God in America? Satan goes to and from this earth as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. choose which master you will serve ,God or Satan.

meliosexe Animations Oh my god. Unless your car doesn’t have windows then how would he jump out?
Marc D would have to go in the back of the truck wouldn’t be able to fit that big baby in a car
Fire Fighters are our first on responders, and last to leave. Thanks to all Fire Fighters around the world. They are our true heroes!
In Australia, our defendable space is required to be 50-100m. The trees are tall and burn HOT, radiation from them is a problem.
God! what those guys have to face, my hats off all of them keep safe.
This is intense! I love it!
We appreciate all these fantastic fighter fires ,risking their lives ,nothing much but rspect
The dog! 😭 poor baby
Right... a rottweiler too
All my thoughts to California, the firefighters & the people, and animals ❤️❤️❤️
My prayers go to all who are struggling with this
God Bless the firefighters for such bravery.
If god is so loving and powerful to bless the firefighters why he did not stop the fire before taking these propruções??
Maybe just maybe... god loves to see, believers begging for help, even if it means dead for some..
...
Or maybe he does not even exis.
Hang in there California, we are pulling and praying for you, much love and respect for these brave firefighters.
This is one year old and it happened again???
@Michael Richmond it happens like every now and then, we are starting to get brush fires more and more frequently, yesterday there was a brush fire in azusa, luckily we put it out
@Michael Richmond yea
Man this reminds me of mad max fury road. Respect fighter!
This comment section:
70% conspiracy theories on the government setting fires
30% “is this a sign from God???”
CharlesDaChurro ikr
Not conspiracy when the damn proof is there, in plain sight.
The government doesn’t need to set fires they just sit back and do nothing
@Simeauli Tiai bruh
@Simeauli Tiai Look i'm a christian and i believe in the second coming of christ but i'm sick and tired of everytime something bad happens people start screaming its the return of the christ everyone repent I'm only 16 years old i wanna live my life before i got to heaven
Keep fighting the good fight ✊️
Honestly all of those homeowners should cut all of those trees and bushes around the house in advance just Incase there ever was a fire like this
They should stop building houses in fire prone areas, period. But, we know that won't happen.
@@steeldriver5338 They should stop building "wood houses" in fire prone areas not stop building altogether.
take a look at this:

Deforestation
Thank you firefighters, you are real hero's, please stay safe 😎💖
Where's the avengers and marvel and x-men when you really need them!
Balls of steel...unbelievable courage...
When i grow up im gonna be a firefighter
That a boy. It MEANS something, like being a doc or military.
My prayers are with the firefighters. May Gods protection be with you and shield you from these fires
Australia is going throw the same thing but way worse
yea true i am australian and these fires are nothing and they make a big deal about it all i live in beechworth vic wich was about 10-20 km away from the fires and in 2009 when i was 2 black saturday was no more then 5 ks away.
What ever they were spraying was crazy powerful !! It straight stopped that fire !!
Someone left their dog for dead at the end??? I hope not 😡
My heart at the end, omg
3:55 dude has cojones.
wow incredible footage and work
rainbow vs fire
like if rainbow winS
Comment is fire wins
fire because rainbow can't do anything
Thankyou Firefighters!🙏🙏🙏
*laughs in Australian* cute fires.
Ryan Willis as an Australian, I’m going to need you to explain that comment
Geoff Rogerson clearly ain’t the brightest
it was sad what happened in Australia, but to laugh at the fact that this still happened and affected many people is incredibly disturbing. Get help. This isn’t a joke.
To stand in front of something so massive with a little hose and tell it i will win. Mad respect!
They are risking their lives for all the people thanks to jehova dios and thanks to the fighters tooo

Best report I've seen. Be careful guys!
And People think they do not need God in America? Satan goes to and from this earth as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. choose which master you will serve ,God or Satan.
Is California the only place to experience natural disasters? I'm pretty sure tornadoes and hurricanes affect - oh yeah! - the Bible belt.
It’s a fire, not a magical demon devouring children.
good lord who let you out of the looney bin
alan smlth Shouldn’t you be bilking the elderly out of their life savings, 1 Sunday at a time?
alan smlth he said, living in America where most people are Christians and atheism is viewed as worse than Islam by many.
Beat matching to the reverse beeper, nice touch
