@@devoywilliams3956but you don't consider things like paying monthly to play online, controllers that break yearly, buying a LG C2 to discover only 10 games run at 120 frames per second, all their games are 30% more cost wise.
And reoptimized games you have to buy again.
All of that makes it cost more then PC upgrades and yet you can't Google, no applications, no mods, it's hardware you don't have the freedom to use

With the ps5 pro the only thing that could make it better than the other two is to make it so the frame rates are higher and consistent as well as 4K resolution in games and they need to fix the Liquid Metal problem

It will run like crap on the base PS5 just like GTA5 and RDR2 ran like crap on base PS4. A pro is needed but next gen release (PC and PS6) is going to be the ultimate GTA6 experience.

As someone with a PS4 pro i think it only makes sense to get the pro versions from now on because they always tend to have less problems than the original versions. PS5 was an expirement. But PS5 pro will be perfected to a higher level.

That's actually not true, I bought my PS4 pro in 2018 and one year later it already had overheating problems, it was like a plane. 😂
@mattias5945 but still was better than PS4. PS4 Pro is quieter and has better graphics that still very similar to PS5 which is why I've been waiting for PS5 Pro.

Its not an exclusive, played it on PC with much better graphics and performance.
I got the PS5 to replace my OG PS4, which was still functional, but even after cleaning and replacing the cooling paste it still sounded like a jet engine. The PS5 is so quiet by comparison. I waited almost a full year after launch to even get a chance to buy one at retail, so I'll probably wait and see if it's worth getting after it gets reviewed.

This Pro talk and even the incoming PS6 news just doesn’t sit right with me, given what has transpired over the last few years. Which seems just like yesterday. Me personally, I believe Sony should’ve waited to release their console at least another year or so. Just to keep things fresh. I’m now thinking about going the PC route.
Same here I bought the Xbox Series X bc I knew it was arguably supposed to be the most powerful console of this generation and then I had pro Sony friends saying why you doing that. Honestly I didn't like the fact that ps5 wasn't even able to really be purchased at launch excluding a very select few lucky ppl. Now it's like xbox has just decided they want their games to be played by everyone which is awesome bc I don't like console wars but at the same time it's like we out here talking about the ps5 pro/ps6 while the ps5 and Xbox series x don't even have enough amazing games between them to even truly justify their existence yet. Because as other people have mentioned it would be different if the ps5 and xbox series x have been pushed to their max ability but it's hard to think they have been if games sometimes look like ps3 games. I know diminishing returns kick in after a certain point but in a lot of ways I believe us as games were fed a line of smoke when being told about the massive powers of both the series x and ps5 so in a lot of ways pc seems like the smarter play due to Sony moving that way and xbox already being heavily integrated into pc territory from the jump.
I'll be getting the ps5 Pro, it will be my first ps5 ever period.. 😏

Pops… I just talked three of my boys out of getting a ps5 in general. All of the games we play, they can still play on their ps4. Sony put out a few bangers this generation so far, but they have been dropping the ball. They will probably upgrade for gta6.

@@d.dankey1168 a free game is cool but i think waiting it out for the pro version will be worth the wait at the end, from specs to physical changes, the slim has little to no specs changes compared to the og version. Im buying the pro simply for when gta 6 comes out

I'm a PC gamer. The only reason I am considering getting a console is because there are sony exclusives that I don't want to wait 3-4 years for the PC port if it ever does get a port. I almost bought a PS5 slim until I heard the rumors about the pro. I will wait and buy the pro as soon as it comes out along with some of the games I have been wanting to play like spiderman 2, last of us 2 remastered, etc. Also, I expect >100 fps coming from PC world, so the PS5 Pro seems like it will fit the bill.
I've been thinking of getting a ps5, I guess I'll buy a ps4 fat for now since it's only a few months till the ps5 pro will be announced and either way if itll be more expensive that i expect it to be, i can just get the og ps5

Only issue i personally had is that i wanted to get a full carbon fiber ps5 plates, but there is way less customization options found online for the slim edition… so if you like to customize your console, i’d say go for the regular ps5. If you don’t care abt that, then defo go for the slim. Its 10x better

Bro. I have the regular ps5 now. I will definitely upgrade to a ps5 pro. Why? I don’t care. I’ll sacrifice one of my weekly pay to buy it. Done. I won’t get any PC for gaming. Nope. The rate of how pc upgrading its no difference. I’ll get a 30 gran computer to do 3d animation rendering using autodesk maya, sfx Houdini and other nice programs. However Sony need to make more classic games for the vr2. Like call of duty, grand theft, need for speed etc. Finger tracking, and yaw2 chair simulation. Sony need to get these things.

Think Sony got the name right. Think only professional gamers or really hardcore players will appreciate a few extra frame rates and such. I don't game half as much as I used to so I just recently got around to getting a 5. Got a slim disc version for $375. Idk if I could shell out $700+ for some minor upgrades but if you game a ton and have the $ I understand.
Still been unable to get a PS5 for the past year. Emergency budgets has made me delay wanting to buy one but now it makes sense to wait that extra bit long for the pro to release and allow me to have the money ready to purchase
I have to disagree. Everything should be put back in the cycle, due to how hard it was to get a PS5 in the early days. It is only really the last year that PS5’s have been readily available. We have had a handful of PS5 releases, mostly we’ve been subjected to remasters of old games. To bring the Pro to run exclusives better is ridiculous when we haven’t had any! 😂
The Pro will be crazy expensive just to play GTA VI better. You said that only on the PS5 have we finally enjoyed GTA V at 60fps. So what is there to stop the PS5 running VI at 60fps? We are getting a new GTA, but personally I cannot see it being vastly different in terms of size or performance requirements. They will probably drip feed their updates, or lock them behind GTA+. They’ve been milking that GTA V cash cow for way too long and we deserve better than this.
Customers put Sony on top last gen. And they have rewarded us by hitting us with a remaster gen and taking advantage of our custom. This is hands down the most disappointing gen in terms of console gaming. It promised much, but delivered little.
Not even interested in 6 anyway, the story sounds awful. I hope they do standalone online again because I'm more likely to pay for that than the story

Im going to keep it 100 ps5 pro is not coming this year I will stand by that confidently Maybe 2026 or maybe never. it would cost way to much the make with the specs those leaks are throwing around we are looking at a 1200 dollar console being sold at 800 dollars for a 400 dollar loss. And even the specs I have seen that is more realstic doubling the gpu processing power will not all ways lead to a increase in performance we will need to double the performance in the CPU.
And also Rockstar games have never been gpu limited all ways cpu limited they are not graphically intense because they are hyper realistic they are cpu intense because of the physics and the density and the sheer size of the world in their game trust me when I tell you this gta 6 will run at 40 fps solid but will most likely be locked to 30fps they wont be a 60fps mode if the base ps5 cant handle it because the ps5 pro will have the same cpu that will hold it back from running 60 frames the ram can only do so much to offset that.

Your lack of how games are developed is mind boggling 🤣 we didn’t get 60fps on GTA V due to the engine it ran on and the coding to make it, it was much harder for the developers to make this work @ 60fps. This won’t be the case for GTA 6. It will be 120fps for sure, and smooth at that.
Everyone's moaning about it lol, bit when ps5 pro comes out because of the release of GTA 6 this game console will be so in demand it will sell out instantly like the original.

4k with 120hz? My guy not even a 4090 can pull that in decently looking/demanding games so what makes u think a console that Sony expects to sell to the average customer will be more powerful than a computer that costs at least 2k usd/eur.
In the ps5 we barely have any 4k60 games in fact not a single triple a game achieves that however at 1440p/1080p u can see 60frames in pretty much every game however some games do run higher than 60 at 1440p/1080p if enabled so what I’m trying to say is that jumping from 4k30 or 1440p60/120 to 4k120 is a HUGE exaggeration

@@ahmedwael2959 because Sony and Microsoft are updating system software with a virus malware bug stopping some physical games from working intentionally forcing users to buy digital games since ps4/xbone one..all my brand new physical disc is dead and not recognised. Brand new game unrecognised ! Now they both happening with ps5 and xbox series x
gta 6 is probably gonna lower settings to hit 60 or lowest like 50 for contractual obligations,
though it's gonna look fine on the series x and ps5, imma get a ps5 pro to get the better visuals.
