Hi guys;
Which friendship do you think was the best in Avatar?
Please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, Love Y'all!❤
The scenes with Zuko and Iroh completely carried this show
Just like in the cartoons
Absolutely hands down the best characters in the live action
The guy who played iroh is easily the number 1 actor in this show and I am ok with this
@@carolynr4084 They were the best ones in the cartoon too tbh
A lot of the acting was good. Performances almost identical to the show. Though I hate being negative, the girl playing Katara was a bit wooden in the first few episodes
Zuko- “I don’t need a babysitter.”
Iroh- tearing up “How about a friend?”
Me- tearing up “I’ll be your friend” 😭
We're all like "ill be both your friends..😭😭
@@itszefas🎵 You're my best friend 🎵~Freddy Mercury 😊
"Aye, I could do that"
@@tonkinthehanoian1843iykyk
Haha sweet.
Iroh, Zuko, and the 41st division were the best parts of the Netflix adaptation
Yeah, i cried that time when i watch it😢. Very plot twist
I honestly really hope we see the 41st Division in Book 3: Fire when everyone's going around the Fire Nation
Only stupid af that a division is made up of 10.000 men, not 30...
Yes I agree and I only shared them
Maybe they would release spin-off with Zuko and Iroh's three year trip before the main events of the show 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤🔥
“He might have been your father, but he wasn’t your daddy.”
Why are you making me feel this way 😭😭😭
It's shit like this is why I believe James Gunn will make a great Superman movie. The man is a fantastic storyteller.
😢😢
Brooooooooo 😭😭
Well said 💯
What Uncle iroh really wants to say is home is wherever you are, my dear nephew
Exactly
“It seems we are always getting on or off boats. Perhaps that is our lot in life , Prince Zuko.”
Sooo much foreshadowing!
%100
I love how he performed Iroh. You really get the micro-expressions that animation cannot do (well it can, but they couldn't in that original show). It's the most obvious "I care for you" moment ever but they never admit it to each other.
He is a great actor
"everything I need is on this boat"
me: crying for 20 min
Lmao
"Like I said, all the tea I need! 😄😄😄"
Do you notice how Zuko just starts peddeling and all you need to know is written on his face? No "well this is how I feel about that." Very nice.
Indeed!
I really liked how they portrayed their relationship, but I really missed the part when Iroh tells him "Ever since I lost my son , I think of you as my own".
Он это сказал, но другими словами
И даже более красноречиво 😊
I mean it goes without saying, similar to how Zuko silently told Iroh at the funeral it was okay to lower his guard and show his emotions when he could tell Iroh was hurting inside so much.
@@TayoEXE In the original scene Zuko tells him that he doesn't have to say it, but he does it anyway because he wants to Zuko to hear it and because it's good for him to say it out loud. In the live action, Iroh is a bit more emotionally constrained. I guess that in the second season finale, Zuko will say the line "He's the one who's been a real father to me" and finally verbalize their true bond.
these two are impressive. The father who needed a son and a son who needed a father... the perfect fit
💯
nice touch with leaves from the vine playing in the background
These live action additional dialogues and scenes are gems
%100
Damn, I am NOT looking forward to zuko breaking iroh's heart in the next season or the one after.
Their bond may be my favorite thing from this iteration/adaption of avatar
Yeah for now :) But this version is more lovely tho
When that time comes, it would be really devastating because of how much we've seen their bond develop 💔
Think of it as a build-up for what will happen on season 3 and make it the most powerful and touching scene of the entire series.
@ClydeFake true! Zuko's reunion with iroh after his betrayal always kicks me in the feels
@@antifornicator I know! And this actor kills it when playing a devastated iroh! It's going to hurt when zuko betrays him
The scene after this carries so much weight. The 41st are honoured to have Zuko as their commander
Zuni?
@@TheMrPeteChannelmost likely autocorrect
This episode had some deep scenes. This one, the funeral, zuko making the decision to save his uncle rather then go after the avatar, the conversation between iron and the earth kingdom soldier. I even liked king bumi’s speech to aang telling him what it is to have to constantly make impossible choices.
Yeah agreed!
These two are literally the only reason I'd recomend someone to watch the live action.
I think there are a few more as well
AM I HEARING CHORDS FROM LEAVES FROM THE VINE?!
maybe :)
Yes, yes you are
They play a sadder version during Lu Ten's funeral, but in this scene, they play a more hopeful version. Iroh lost a son, so Leaves from the Vine was sad, but he gained a son in Zuko, so it became full of hope.
IMO Zuko and Iroh were the highlights of this adaption. This scene and Lu Ten's funeral actually got me to tear up and that's rare for me.
yeah +1
I love how this was the payoff for the funeral scene. He comes for his nephew when his nephew came for him. Iroh has nothing to stay in the Fire Nation for; his brother is a tyrant bent on conquering the world, and Iroh is banking on Zuko being the next king, and a better one.
+1
Zuko and Iroh scenes are some of the best in the show! They really nailed their characters imo
💯
Iroh: everything i need is on this boat.
Zuko: 😶
Me: 😭😭😭
Lmao!
Im suprised that alot of the live action scenes actually touched me in a sensible way. Making me tear up n stuff😊
The best live action avatar.more lesson about family, friend and love.
Zuko and iroh always carry these live action imitations
Exactly
Playing “Leaves from the Vine” here as well. This song will become about Iroh and Zuko in this show.
Lovely
Everything I need on this boat ❤ beautiful
Referring to Zuko. ❤️
@@swthihiwe know 😭😭
God, i love Uncle iroh 🥲
Who doesn't?
We all wish he was our uncle
This guy portray Iroh really well. He might seem like a goofball/tea maniac, but he is actually very wise and caring towards Zuko. I mean, he was willing to accompany him on a journey which most would say an impossible mission. How many would do the same as him? None, just him.
If they continued the series, the scene where Zuko betrayed everyone, including his uncle, would be so heartbreaking to see. 😢
Unfortunately
Imagine if Iroh became Firelord. The war would've been over sooner.
The only reason he stopped being the heir is bcs his son died. If his son lived and he became the Firelord, I agree the war would've been over sooner, but all the other nations would be under his rule, and Aang would be facing greater challenge fighting an empire.
Probably. But with a darker outcome as only the loss of his son made Iroh into the man he is now.
@@lapisinfernalis9052it takes loss for a man to open his eyes to what can be found
@@meurumtrain4747 "when you hit your lowest point, you are open to the greatest change. "
Leaves from the vine playing in the background made this scene more enjoyable besides the performances of Paul Sun Hyung-Lee and Dallas Liu
Best relationship in NATLA. The father without a son, and a son without a father.
Yess
As much as this wasn’t Mako’s Iroh, this Iroh was still the best thing in this adaptation. They added so much more to the dynamic of the Royal Family of the Fire Nation in this.
I really like that we actually get to see more interaction of Zuko, Azula, and Iroh with Ozai. Really fleshing out the toxic family relationship and see how truly indoctrinated and manipulative Ozai is.
Gives more depth to Zuko’s relations with his command in his exile (the 41st Division (GREAT CHANGE BTW)).
Overall, this adaptation was alright, not great, and never expected it to be better than the animated series. But it still is a much better live-action treatment than the last time and when it does something original and good, it’s actually really good. As much as I don’t like how they condensed the series, they still did a decent job in making sure it wasn’t too rushed or incoherent.
I agree with you
My sister came in and thought this was a romantic scene. I let her believe it and fed into that narrative throughout the rest of the show.
lmao
I thought Sokka was done pretty good too.
Yes
Sokka, Zuko and Zhao, the best character performances in the live action.
I did not expect his actor to pull off the Sokka screams
“How about a friend?”
Leaves from the vine….
😢😢😢😢😢😢
God.
They played the tree leaf song.
Fuck, dude my heart.
💯
That scene and them him capping off his words of wisdom with "all the tea I need" was the moment that I was convinced, this wasn't an actor, this was iroh.
@@shredx7169 hahah yeah!
Bru they are good actors 😭😭I wish the rest of the cast was this good
haha yep
Zuko is played so well
Iroh home as long as he with his nephew
Lovely
These 2 were my favourite parts of the live action show
Same
All the scenes with them are so wholesome. If they put Mako singing "Leaves from the Vine" in the background, in the episode with Ba Sing Se, while Iroh mourns Lu Ten, I might cry.
hahah same!
Iroh and Zuko were by far the best part of the live action series. There was a lot more dimensions added to their relationship and it enhanced their bond. Zuko's betrayal in season 2 is going to be even more painful.
@@williamg8269 I totally agree with you
Uncle Iroh is the dad Zuko never had. ❤
Exactly!
2:03 ❤ he needed Zuko and Zuko needed him. I really liked Zuko and Iroh from the live action.
+1
2:19 Zuko tearing up 😢
What was better was just a minute later when Zuko sees Abba, but when Iroh asks if he saw something, Zuko says no.
+1
I just noticed that the soundtrack on this scene have tunes from “Leaves from the Vine”
❤
Uncle Iroh is the dad Zuko needed, but he never had. 😢
Exactly!
"how about a friend?"
I laugh at the dialogue 😂
I cry at te music 😢
Lol
Episode 4 is By FAR my favourite.
Mostly because of iroh zuko and bumi.
But i also liked Katara and Sokka's bonding moment. Two simblings who have to face the world Together by making mistakes but also with hope to explore it on a Important mission.
Same!
So many people point out that Zuko and Iroh carried the live action show.
I mean, they were supposed to.
Those two carried the original show as well.
Lol
THE BACKGROUND SONG MADE ME CRY
@@Bea-rl8ui haha same btw can you subscribe for we reach out to more people
That leaves on the vine gently playing is just primo
Yeahh
I just love them, in the original series and here
same
I love how they use leaves on the vine in Iroh/Zuko scenes.
lovely!
Iroh was always the better father figure to Zuko. They had their disagreements and their troubles, but ultimately, they had each other. Iroh would've been a much better Fire Lord than Ozai, but circumstances caused him to forsake his birthright. As time went forward, he saw that Ozai was trying to surpass the destruction Sozin caused as Ozai believed that power was more important than peace. Iroh, and eventually Zuko, saw that power without temperance destroys everything, including the person seeking power.
Agree!
1:53 is that little soldier boy in the background no way….
Yes, it's leafs on the vine 😭😭😭😭😭
Good catch
The song 😢 always makes me tear up
💯
We all need an Uncle Iroh in our lives. :)
+1
Who left the bowl of onions?
lol
Iroh and zukos backstory are worth the whole damn show
%100
They are the only reason I will continue to watch NATLA
same!
This scene alone for me justifies a 2nd Season in my opinion.
Yeah
If only the rest of the series was as good as this scene and Lu Ten’s funeral, their backs must hurt from carrying the show
Agree
I mean episode 6 is definitely the best in the season in my and the majority's opinion.
2:19 the only time we actually see Zuko cry 😭 😢
Lol iroh better
Why these types of character's(antagonist )ark not even in Hollywood flims
❤leaves from a vine😭😭😭
I really love their conversation😭😭😭
Lovely
Thank you uncle ❤🥲
You are welcome son!
I always liked the iroh actor. All the roles hes played have been great ones. Specially mandalorian before this.
Irohs character is in good hands no one would've played him better.
Same
This is a fantastic adaptation. Compared to the original, it's an easy 7/10.
💯
The exposition is strong with this one
Leaves from the vine 😫😫😫 1:27
Lovely!
My favourite scene of iroh was his exchange with the earth soldier
💯 good one
This episode was the weakest of the ones I’ve sern so far, except for the Iroh and Zuko scenes. Those got me teary eyed.
I honestly need to watch this series soon.
💯
Damn, Mr. Kim
lol
Idc I’m only watching this show to focus on Zuko journey
same
All need on boat him Zuko best uncle nephew ever everyone go see last Airbender show wonderful show
+1
Leaves on The Vine again!? 😭😭😭
RIP
“Thanks dad.”
Iroh is the real father and nice person
💯
I think ozai burning zuko is
I think irohs last straw to ozai and zuko is iroh’s only family to that point
Great!
This scene is excellent
That's uncleship
Lol
Best scene can’t stop watching like comment subscribe! 😊
Appreciate it!
Looking great
how did you get high quality clips from the show?
Who knows :)
Me watching this episode: hhhmmm pretty good so far! 😊
Hearing the music at 1:27: 😳...stop🥲...don't🥺...please stop!😭 "Everything I need is on this boat" ...ok you keep going. 🥹
Hope they don't skip out on the "this is just hot leaf juice" scene, Lu Ten's birthday, Iroh's "Who are you?" speech and Iroh teaching Zuko lightning bending and Jet attacking Iroh and Zuko scene. Some parts of this duo in Book 2 that I'd love to see adapted into live-action
Yeah 💯
Thank you uncle ❤🥲
You are very welcome
