I create videos to help better inform home Inspectors, buyers, sellers, and realtors on how to find everyday problems with their houses/properties. I will also have guest speakers that work closely with the real estate trade.

you're doing a great job w these videos and the channel, I'm on the fence (no pun intended) about working towards being a home inspector myself and your work here is making a lot of sense to me and giving me confidence to get up off my butt and do it
I recommend looking at the podcast I did a while back about pros and cons of inspecting. It can give you a better mind frame of what you are walking in to.
@@AActionHomeInspectionHouston thanks, I'll check it out. I have a friend who's an OSHA certified inspector/consultant for commercial construction and he says he stays away from residential because "it's the wild west"
You need to use a real thermometer to check the split or Delta T those laser ones aren't accurate enough. All your doing is getting the surface temp of the grill not the actual air temp. While its a ok reference your not doing that your saying there is a problem when there may not be. I'd say over half of my follow ups to inspection reports the systems are fine
Keep up the good work Chris 👍🏼
Thank you
Never seen an extractor exhaust and supply register right next to each other in the laundry room, hhmmm any thoughts on that ?
Honestly, I never looked up the code or manufacture installation requirements on that one. Because the vent isn’t always running, I see less of an issue. No harm in looking. I will check it out.
