Believe it or not Simms was alright when he was at NBC and early in his CBS run. Eventually though he turned into a parody of himself and seemed to get dumber as the years went by. Even now, on the pregame show he adds very little.
They don't deserve credit for anything. They made us listen to Simms for YEARS

This was a year they were competing in every game but often lost in the 4th quarter, it stinks because the Lions were really on the right track and went to the playoffs the next year with a 4 game turnaround and the games that got away in 2010, they won in 2011. This game is similar to the games vs the Saints, they were undone because they got torched in the passing game, they played undisciplined football and lost games for reasons related and Schwartzie at times was too stubborn.

The 2010 Patriots are arguably the 2nd or 3rd best regular season team they’ve had in the Brady-Belichick era. Record 14-2, #1 seed, and 2010 was arguably Brady’s 2nd or 3rd best regular season, 36 Tds & only 4 interceptions, unanimous MVP. Brady played 17 full seasons (didn’t play his rookie season, missed 2008 with a torn ACL) 6 SB championship, 9 SB appearances, 13 AFC Championship appearances, so only 4 seasons Brady didn’t win or play in the SB or play in the AFC Championship. This was one of 4 years. Pats lost at home to the #6 seeded Jets in the divisional round.

NF teams can only use 1 helmet shell per season - therefore only 1 color. This means New England, which has silver helmets, can't add an additional helmet, colored white, for their throwbacks. Similarly, Tampa can't go creamsicle anymore

It's a shame to look 9 years into the present and see the 2019-2020 Lions almost right back in the same predicament as they were at the beginning of the Stafford era. They've lost a ton of talent the last 3 or 4 years and basically tore down what was once a promising roster, and imo firing Jim Caldwell after he was their most successful coach in 3 decades was the worst thing they could have done. Matt Patricia has almost no redeeming qualities aside from being a branch on the Belichick coaching tree, which as we've seen over the years far from guaranteed success as an autonomous head coach.

You can’t, it’s usually luck or situational. You could be the best leader, have the strongest arm, superior game IQ and perfect accuracy but if you don’t have a great staff, profiecnt line, targets, running game or defense you’ll be another underrated guy that can run every other QB off the field.
McCourty's speed is under spoken. His second INT, you can hear Simms say "whoa" and then Nantz says it soon after. His Vtec kicked in. Also the last goal line TD, gronk is a damn beast. McBride put his whole strength to toss Gronk and he brushed it off and laughed at McBride's face so hard his future kids now have self esteem issues.
