Chris, I tried several other exercise apps and programs. But none compare to the progress I've made using your program. I've been training for 7 months and my max is 8 pull ups! When i started I couldn't even do one, and I couldn't do pushups either😂. Sending you a lot of love and support from Mexico!❤

😇 When I started my fitness journey, I used to watch your videos a lot and you told me many workouts to stay fit without weight and then when I started boxing, I too got inspired by you and started boxing and now I have been boxing for 1 year and 5 months, so I am very inspired by you and like you I always want to live a fit and healthy lifestyle because without fitness💪 you cannot fully enjoy and live a healthy life 😊. Thank you sir 🥰🥰♥️♥️
Hey chris. Amazing video. I started calisthenics 2 years ago. Been watching your videos since i started. I couldn’t even do pull ups or push up. And now i’m 19 and already can do: 22 clean pull ups( with no swinging or bad form), 70 push ups in a row, pull over, 90degree hold and finally muscle up. I’ve worked so hard to achieve these things. Thank you man
Very inspiring and practical advice, you really stand out in the calisthenics world for the well considered progression workouts you share with us. Thank you!
Bro Brandon Williams is the reason I’ve started calisthenics and started watching you. You are the goat bro and so is Brandon that’s why you should make a video on HIS routine I always see your routine but have never seen his.
i remember commenting i think around over a year ago, barely being able to do L sit, i can say that your guides have helped me alot, because i have learned alot of skills
I've been watching you for about like 2 or 3 years now, and I've been trying to stay consistent in my workout, and things like that, but like Chris says, you don't find time, you make time, so Chris Mad love to you bro, thank you a lot 🤝👏
You have been my greatest inspiration when it comes to calisthenics and fitness in general. In one year I have changed my body drastically, from not being able to do a pull up, to now working on tucked versions of front and back lever, and now starting on my journey to explosive pull ups. Thank you very much, looking forward to learning more ❤🔥🔥🔥
Initially I worked on getting the basic strength on the lat pulldowns machine until I bought myself a set of resistance bands, after I got my bands, I began with one band that allowed me to max out at around 10 pull ups (basically making 10 pull ups in a row my goal rep range). After 2 sets of resistance band pull ups, I would then either lower the resistance band strength or take it off (only once I was able to do 2 pull ups without assistance) I would focus on negative jump pull ups for around 5 or 6, or till I got tired, then finish with one set of lat pulldowns (or bodyweight rows, which is what I after 2 months of practicing I ended up doing instead of lat pulldowns) and that would be my PullUp training. Now I just usually do pull up variations, proceeded by rows, then bicep work for the rest of my pull workout. Lmk if you need more details, would be glad to help. 😅
Also, once I was able to do unassisted pull ups for around 5 reps, I changed the order to be unnasisted pull ups first for 2 to 3 sets, then assisted to maintain form and continue. But do that once you can do pull ups consistently
@@oppenheimer11 keep trying, I would say focus on getting the feeling of a pull up first, with resistance bands, or the assisted pull up machine, anything that can reduce the force needed for you to do a pull up, get the feeling first. Once you got the feeling, you start lowering assistance, and you will see improvement. Also, do not neglect your arms, chest or core, as they also help out with overall strength. It took me a long time too to get it, I also quited many times. But one day it just clicked after trying. Just remember it's ok to not be able to do a pull up and having to resort to assistance for it, but that is what eventually gives you the ability to achieve not just the pull up, but every exercise/goal.
I’d love to see a series of this! Variations after 10-15 pull ups, more push up variations, etc Also, thanks Chris! Because of you I got into calisthenics and fitness, you changed my life fr
