I threw a party with the 310 on 100% and bass boost on. Ended up with 5 different complaints. Cant even imagine how it would have went if I had the 710
I bought two 710s. With the bass boost on level 1, I can only turn the volume up at 25 percent without the house rattling too much. I love it. The bass is better than I thought it would be.
I have the 110 and the 310. I am thinking about the 710. The 110 sounds great and it's the one for me that set this whole partybox thing off for me. I like to use it for small gatherings of 10 people or so. We like the music loud at a dancing level. So for me the 310 comes into play when I have a bbq, pool party, tailgate, etc. Still it's just what we need but we have to crank it to almost max level. I think that I would enjoy the extra headroom. But right about now it probably makes more sense to sell the 110 and get a 2nd 310. I don't get this talk about overkill or the cops coming. Nope these boxes are not really that loud unless you are in an apartment or dorm where you shouldn't be trying to go loud anyway ..

Got the 110 today at Costco as it had a $70 off sale. Not loud enough for my yard. My 10 year old and 6 year old daughters agreed that it wasn’t loud enough either. I’ll be returning it at the end of the summer and saving for the 310 thanks.
Just bought the 310 & trust me these speak ers are some of the best in the industry, the bass & clarity is so good & it's actually better than the sound system in my car & that's why I'm playing it in my car.
@natural person for me also the 310 wins, a speaker with a batery gives so much more options to xarry with you to plaeces like to the soccermatches or outdoor parties

Since 1 already has the bass and loudness to fill a giant room or fill the outdoors (yes, even in the bass), getting 2 would really only be for left-right stereo. If you're an audiophile and willing to pay for a whole 1000 more, sure, go for it, but not worth it for any typical user, in my opinion. I really only got two since I was lucky to get one at 20% and the other 25% off, and the stereo was really nice. But I would definitely say it's worth it for the audio experience, but not for price to performance, especially since 1 already costs a lot.
@@jim8643 If you're thinking "audiophile speaker" as in requiring the absolute most flat frequency response possible then no, it isn't but audiophile speakers don't have to get to that point of precision at all. This speaker is more than precise enough to satisfy every typical audiophile's ear. You're very much wrong if an "audiophile" requires the flattest of curves. I can give you the clasical Sennheiser HD 600 example. :)

The school I go to got donated the 710, we use it in doors. Because I'm on the sound tech we get to set it up and we all have fun setting it up. We use it indoors, I agree with him it is a bit overkill but when we have a assembly it's needed, we don't really turn it up much because it's so good!

If your confused why about why we weren't using bluetooth is because we had a mixing desk connected to ours (not a ton of point for one microphone, but was easy if we needed to use two speakers for whatever reason.) Although we're using that as a normal bluetooth speaker now, we've changed to a parir of JBL EON professinal speakers.
The thing is the ultimate puts the 710 to shame just the same. And this is a very good thing. Every upgrade is extremely worth the money you spend on it while being a very good value regardless of the model you purchase. Great win for JBL.
Great comparison. I am between the 310 and the 710. 80% of the time for movies. However, we have a large room in our house (about 20 feet by 30 feet). Ever year we throw a Christmas party for about 30 people. The people absorbe all of the sound and my current speakers are just not loud enough. I don't care about battery at all although portablity is often important. Will the 310 be enough for the volume side of things or should I go 710?
310 for 30 people is perhaps the limit. I would go for the 710 if you want extra head room. I had the same situation just last week, I felt the 310 was struggling, so I brought in the 110 to help out.
I originally wanted to buy the JBL Partybox 310 but everybody was out of stock so I picked up a Sony srs-xp700. Used it for a few days and it does sound pretty good but it doesn't have the punch that the JBLs have. So i returned it and ordered a JBL Partybox 710 that was in stock. Should be here in a few days. $250 more than the 310 and no battery but I am only going to use it as an indoor speaker. Neighbors are going to hate me. 🤣
well the only down side i can see is that the 710 dosent have a battery and the 310 and the 110 have. ( but it is something you can fix if you are just a little creative beacsue the mainborad in the 310 and the 710 are the same so there is a place for a battery input but the lifetime is not that great if you use the battery from 310. dont need a 310 but only a battery replacment to the 310. i have both and have tryed this and can cornfirm it works great but again not that great lifetime)
basiclly the 310 is the midelground between sound and cost considering the other ones ( they all sound close to the same but the 310 is a little louder then 110 and have better bass then 110. have worse sound then 710 but 710 is overkill for most sinaros not to mention that the 310 is the most protable then the 710 and the 110. they all have similer sound but you can hear that they arent the same speaker) :D

I wonder if the 710 does what the 1000 does when you go up really high with the volume and that it lowers the bass and ups the highs and mids and throws the whole balance of sound out of wack?
to help us as the audience understand which one sounds better, next time use a db meter to put each one at the same volume level, and play the same part of the song on all 3 instead of the song continuing to run while you switch. because of these reasons it is very hard for us to understand the difference in anything other than how loud they are.
I cant decide over the 310 and 110... I have the new flip 6 and love it sound quality is amazing I also have a charge 3, I am using it in a dorm in college and in my truck to blast music when driving especially in summer lol I want bass. so any feedback would be great concerned over the volume and bass of 110 if it is enough for me I like having more than needed knowing its there if I want to use it. price isn't too big of a deal 150ish difference plan on keeping long term
Oh man they are so beautiful all of them! I have the boombox 2 and the charge 5 (for personal use at home) but sometimes you just want to feel some more power 🤩 help me out wich one should i buy ? The 310 or the 710 🤔 i don't care taking them with me since i have the boombox 2 . My first JBL was a flip 3 which wasn't enough for our small skatepark at the time so I added a xtreme 1 connecting them together. Then the flip broke so I added a charge 3 then the charging port on that quite working so I added another xtreme 1 both still work. But we got a bigger skatepark so I grabbed 2 partybox 100's and couldn't be happier

Here is a question for you - The Partybox 310 has selectable inputs, AUX, BT and USB, the 710 does not (also both speakers have the selectable mic/ guitar line inputs and both have the passthru line inputs) - how do you select the inputs for the 710? I understand that the 310 and 710 can use the independent 1/4" jacks at the same time and mix them. How do you use the 710 if you want to use the AUX input from maybe a PC, another audio source via the link port jack and also then use another input via BT? Are they all compatible at the same time?

My issue is the 710s are on sale now and are literally 100 dollars more than the 310. You said it’s over kill and I believe you but the value is more than 100 dollars between the two so I feel I’m getting a deal
For a 100 dollar difference i would def get the pb710 for sure, here i could get one new for 560 bucks and the pb310 for 400, i just went ahead with the pb310 and have 2 partybox encores they blew me away with their deep bass, much better highs and overal more clear and deep bass than my old pb100, and their light show is just like the 710 and its size and sound output ratio. Can't wait to try the 310 altough one side in me keeps telling me to cancel the 310 order and place one for the 710 instead at 560 that one also is a win purchase but me being someone that during loves taking his speakers on the road and outside would probably pick the 310

110 is basically personal use 310 would be better fitting for that case but would be drowned out even with kids screaming and yelling and adults talking

don't forget the volume dial, so satisfying on the 110/710, still got the 310 though.
710 is really impressive for just sheer power and bass, but I think the 310 offers the best overall value.

I just got a 110, more than enough for me. I love it, and before it I had a full stereo with two towers and a 12” sub and prefer the jbl all the way

It does the same thing. Around over 60% of volume, bass will start rolling off.

Great review. If you link 2 via TWS does the mic and instrument play out of both? JBL seems to indicate using inputs only plays in that one speaker.

I have the new flip 6 and love it sound quality is amazing I also have a charge 3, I am using it in a dorm in college and in my truck to blast music when driving especially in summer lol I want bass. so any feedback would be great concerned over the volume and bass of 110 if it is enough for me I like having more than needed knowing its there if I want to use it. price isn't too big of a deal 150ish difference plan on keeping long term
Go for 110! Its sound refined with a lot of good bass and its more compact for outdoors.

I personally would get the 110bits pretty loud and it's brand new. The 310 is 2 years old so it's going to get a revamped style hopefully soon
For 150 more I went with the 310. Longer batt life is a big plus, Also more bass than the 110...

Oh man they are so beautiful all of them! I have the boombox 2 and the charge 5 (for personal use at home) but sometimes you just want to feel some more power 🤩 help me out wich one should i buy ? The 310 or the 710 🤔 i don't care taking them with me since i have the boombox 2 . I just want a powerfull speaker to have at my house (i don't have neighbors near me) so i can play music whenever i want to 😅 i live on the country side. Any suggestions? Peace out ✌️
My first JBL was a flip 3 which wasn't enough for our small skatepark at the time so I added a xtreme 1 connecting them together. Then the flip broke so I added a charge 3 then the charging port on that quite working so I added another xtreme 1 both still work. But we got a bigger skatepark so I grabbed 2 partybox 100's and couldn't be happier

Takes the pb710 like me. Expensive but the sound is so good with bass that could blow up the house. No regrets, even if my wallet hurts

Here is a question for you - The Partybox 310 has selectable inputs, AUX, BT and USB, the 710 does not (also both speakers have the selectable mic/ guitar line inputs and both have the passthru line inputs) - how do you select the inputs for the 710? I understand that the 310 and 710 can use the independent 1/4" jacks at the same time and mix them. How do you use the 710 if you want to use the AUX input from maybe a PC, another audio source via the link port jack and also then use another input via BT? Are they all compatible at the same time?
310. Best available. With lights and the dual wireless jbl mics I get 12 hours battery.

What do you mean anywhere, have you tried purchasing from online stores. .it is a relatively new speaker so it is still very well in production

Same here, it’s Nov. 23rd and have looked everywhere for the past two weeks. No please has it: be it in-store pickup or on-line delivery. I opted for the next best thing 710 series. Hope I will not be disappointed

My issue is the 710s are on sale now and are literally 100 dollars more than the 310. You said it’s over kill and I believe you but the value is more than 100 dollars between the two so I feel I’m getting a deal
For a 100 dollar difference i would def get the pb710 for sure, here i could get one new for 560 bucks and the pb310 for 400, i just went ahead with the pb310 and have 2 partybox encores they blew me away with their deep bass, much better highs and overal more clear and deep bass than my old pb100, and their light show is just like the 710 and its size and sound output ratio. Can't wait to try the 310 altough one side in me keeps telling me to cancel the 310 order and place one for the 710 instead at 560 that one also is a win purchase but me being someone that during loves taking his speakers on the road and outside would probably pick the 310
Partybox710 doesn't have a battery for a reason.This is because there is no restriction on the sound.

I just dont understand.. Jbl says its 1100 watts rms, some yt guy said its 350rms, and some random audio dudes said its like 150 watts and the pb710 is 160? i dont get it.. Is it even worth it? Are all the audio descriptions fake, like the 500w rms on my logitech z906???

110 is basically personal use 310 would be better fitting for that case but would be drowned out even with kids screaming and yelling and adults talking
