I will always enjoy the moment where Peter tries to join the other heroes in the fight against the evil Spider-Man copycats, and they tell him that he has to stick this one out because they don’t want to hurt him. It’s just something of pure genius!

@Comicstorian i don't know how to thank you enough for this, when i first discovered your channel, i was happy, really happy to say the least, in my country, it is very rare to find a comic book, and i was depressed after my grandfathers death, then suddenly, i saw you on my recommended videos, it was really joyful, you made me forget all the sadness and reminded me of the happiness, again, thank you, may you stay making videos about comic books friend
Truly, this story line brought me back to Spider-Man as well. I loved Kaine! The whole premise of his character. His Scarlet Spider spin-off didn't last long enough for me. I don't think the really knew what to do with him. They were too busy trying to make new heroes and enemies for him that his story was too much. It was like a-whole-nother Spiderverse! Marvel already has enough already. Still I hope the fine a good niche for Kaine like they did for Flash Thompson and Venom.

First off let me just say this. I LOVED Spider-Island! I got the hard cover paperback of the whole event. Dan Slott really showed off his Spider-Man love with this event. I can't believe people HATE this event because of ridiculous reasons like the Jackal and Kaine. This event was a Spider-Man masterpiece that is not going to be forgotten by any true Spider-Man fans of the comics for a LONG time.P.S. If my request has any weight then I would suggest doing Spidey's next event Ends of the Earth which also a masterpiece in it's own right. Or you COULD DO Daredevil's most recent story involving the Purple Man because of him appearing on the new Netflix series Jessica Jones.

I think there was an alternate take on this story where the heroes lost, and agent venom was left to create a resistance. It had werewolf cap, vampire ms marvel, and a whole lot of other badass stuff

Great storyline in this comic! However, I have a question for all the Spider-Man fans watching this video. Who here is a fan of the game Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows? And if so, who here but me feels that that game should have had a graphic novel/comic book or movie/TV series adaptation?
man I remembered when I actually had this comic, the free version of it (it was labeled as "Comic Day" I think) and I was so hyped to read my very 1st comic.
I do miss the old style of Comicstorian. Always putting in nice music to accompany the comic book issues. I always wondered what was the guitar song that they put at the end of their videos.
I'm actually trying to find it right now, dude. I even tried using the Shazam app and I can't find it. He actually told me what it was on one of his streams but I forgot it lol. Let me know if you know it?
Also yeah I also miss the old comicstorian pattern. It just had more enthusiasm to it, and it made it feel more intriguing. That's not to say he's not good now, of course, he is but I do miss the old Benny, especially that music he put in there.

well, i know that this jackal here was actually a clone. Also, Ben Reilly and the Jackal were thought to be dead after the clone saga but they both survived. The Jackal has come back a bunch of times. I don't really remember exactly how that all went down since it's been a while but i still don't see how the marriage has anything to do with them.
XRay22AW the reason why the marriage is involved with the clone saga because during this time peter parker and mary jane were still married and mary jane was pregnant during time plus ben reily aka scarlet spider was going to be mayday parker aka spider-girl uncle during this period and kane was involved too during the trail of peter parker long story
XRay22AW also another reason why the marriage is involved it's because of another crucial factor harry Osborn was dead during that time too so how the hell did Norman Osborn fake his own death with harry Osborn being alive again
