You're smart!!! I love your way of teatching, you shows the roots of the words and that'amaising!!! Georgian language becomes really simple and fashinated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
არაფრის! Your welcome. Thank you so much for paying attention too! I love sharing my thoughts and your feedback gives me more motivation. I'm going to begin releasing the next series of 60 videos from October. So you have time to review the current series ✨✨✨. დიდი მადლობა! ❤️❤️
Great video! I love your explanation. Thank you! One thing only, the usage of power here is a little bit confusing, as it should be multiplication instead (e.g. 20^3=20*20*20=8000, not 60)
Now that you mentioned it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍 It's true. My goal was to make the eye identify the number, 2 with ᲝᲠᲘ . ( 3 with სამი and 4 ოთხი) and while remembering to say 20 "ოცი".
We were taught at school, that 11, 12, 13, 14 etc have თ in the beginning, because in old Georgian they were 11=ათერთმეტი (ათ-ერთ-მეტი that is ათზე ერთით მეტი, sth is more than ten because 1 was added), 12=ათორმეტი (ათ-ორ-მეტი that is ათზე ორით მეტი, in this case 2 was added)...When the time passed ათერთმეტი became თერთმეტი, ათორმეტი- თორმეტი etc and from "ათ-" in the beginning only "თ-" was left... I don't know who may need this😂, but I like that fact very much, learning that at school was very interesting for me...🥰 Ps: Thank you for the video😊
@@learn_georgian_language this is what I found: "იმ რიცხვით სახელებში, რომელთა შემადგენლობაში ათი შე- დის, თ შეერწყა მომდევნო თანხმოვანს იქ, სადაც ეს შერწყმა შესაძლე- ბელი იყო" In case of Numerals containing "ათ-" part თ was merged with following consonant where it was possible: 1. I was thinking, "wait a minute, I'm pretty sure the 20* math isn't right" as someone had already mentioned, but yes - the concept presented was easily understood and learned! I like it! And I LOVE all the quirky linguistic elements in it (metathesis: inversion of vra, assimilation: blending of the consonant phonemes t + sh for 17). It's really talking dirty to me ❤
Hahahaha Georgian arithmetic giving you the shivers. 😅👍 I must say, as soon as I understood it. It made things marginally easier. Georgians reel off numbers as lightning speed. It's astonishing. That'll wet your appetite.
Thank you for this video. Sadly you didn't cover (yet) topic about uneven 20s, that it consists from previous even 20s combined with 11-19 (I mean 31, 55, 73 - this kind of numbers). It's even harder to learn than counting with 20s
Good question. When I made the video there was absolutely nothing available. I made my notes into slides. I'd highly recommend using my slides until something else comes along. If you do find something! Please let me know 💕💕💕 I'd love to see.
😎👌 Მადლობა დიდი. Thanks a lot!Can you please tell me the time-stamp? I'm curious. I checked my slide and 100 is ასი/asi. So, please let me know when the mistake appears, and I'll see if I can update it. 🙏

Did your teachers explain why შვიდი became ჩვიდ ( not ათზე at all??? ) similarly სამი (ც) 🤔💕💕?

These videos are great, love how you explain how and why things connect. Please keep going with them.
Ძალიან დიდი მადლობა! 😏 Thanks a lot. I will 🙏
Muchas gracias, Mr. Smith! I love your videos! Subscribed. Make more, por favor!
Thanks a lot! Making videos is fun but making videos that others also enjoy, is better 🤘😎

Ok! I'll certainly add it to the list 👍💕
Is it possible to find the material from lessons? Pdf, notes, etc?

In the description of the counting system is written... 100=ati...should be 100=asi.

What's that? 😎🤘
