Thank you so much from Belgium! Your videos are so valuable. I've been studying Georgian for about six months and this kind of content is just perfect. However, I struggle to understand the ending "-აა" as in "ჩემ შესახებაა" . Why are there two "აა" and not just one ?
Good question. -აა just means. /is it? Isn't it? And /it is. / it isn't. One "ა" is for "is/are" from არის in order to form the question and engage the listener. The other works as სავრცობი-ა, it is usually used when the word doesn't end in a vowel. Ჩემ Შესახებ-ა-ა "It- IS -about me".
Hi, thank you for the lessons! They are very helpful! I had a question about vowel ended words. Don’t words with ო, უ in the end + genitive stay the same (not -ის, but -ს)? For example სასტუმროს შესახეწბ, კუს შემდეგ. I am asking, because you mentioned “საუბრის”
It's a great question..... Საუბარი (the ა) is dropped. საუბრის. Like... Მეგობრები = the ა is dropped, so მეგობრის. Ზღაპარი , ზღაპრის Does that answer your question?
Not exactly, sorry, English is not my first language. At 10:35 you said all vowel endings change to “-ის”, but will it happen for example with სასტუმრო and become სასტუმრის შესახებ. I thought it would be სასტუმროს შესახებ. And all words that end with ო, უ
you explain very clearly
დიდი მადლობა 🤗
Არაფრის! 😋👌

Well done. It should be სასტუმრო-ს, and საქართველო-ს. Just add the ს. - It looks like I confused myself 😉....
@@learn_georgian_language Got it! Thanks! I am learning georgian for a year now and I still can’t fully understand these topics right)
I also struggled. Every NOUN must have a case. (7 ბრუნვა)
Every ending, (approx 15 თანდებული) must then, take a case.
It takes a while to get used to.
