Been following the stinger's development from the start and as mentioned also believe will fill the void left by Holden and Ford, and will sell very well, plus a seven year warranty , it's perfect timing for our market.
I think European car manufacturers need to be very worried with what's coming out of the East these days: Hyundai, KIA, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan etc. are way better and more reliable than any of the 'liability' cars coming out of Europe. They may not have the status of an Audi, BMW or Mercedes-Benz but they're way better, according to those who have moved over.
Visionery1 I don't see why they should. Kia still has a long way to go to be a player in that market. Plus, changing a brand image is not an easy feat. Personally, last time I drove a kia, I had a horrible experience. Would I spend that much hard earned money on a Kia than a more trusted brand such as BMW or AUDI? Nope. And please, I don't do brand stuff, but if you have driven multiple cars, you can agree that they are not equal.
I saw a guy 193cm tall seat in the rear seats with the driver's seat set to his height and he was just about ok, in that his knees were a couple of cm's from rubbing against the back of the front seat. How much roomier should it be?
The rear is quite tight for such a big car. The much smaller Cerato has more room. Not an issue though unless you're taller than my 172cm though. Cheers, Mal Flynn
Jonathon Warren lol it is. What kia and Hyundai do is copy little bits of german designs and slap them onto their cars. This one has Audi screen placement, mercedes like vents for example. Never authentic.
it has paddle shifters, so it is in fact a manual transmission anytime you want. Why would anyone want to depress a clutch and push a stick around to switch gears? I have a pdk porsche, best thing ever.
No it's not manual transmission....the paddle shifters is the same as the + / - found on some automatic gearboxes. It's referred to as semi-automatic transmission. A purist manual is one that contains a clutch system. People want a pure manual car to have more control of a car....and to also be able to perform drifting which you cannot do with semi-automatics. Other people out there want a real manual.
OK If you believe that :-D being faster is completely off topic...I was just saying there should be a true manual option. There's people out there who are manual enthusiasts.

What a great review. Clearly he has no bias towards specific brands. One of the better reviews if a little short.
kristian weston, Cheers for the feedback. Thanks, Mal Flynn
A good review, mate! So, where is the line for this beauty??? I am getting one for sure....
Estrading Co. The interior, and the aggressive rear design, much like the Commodore Sports Series, is what wins my heart about this car.

Rear legroom tight??? You didn't look very constricted back there... unless you're less than 1.65cm tall... or short.
Meni Fo he said for a car of its size and that it could be a problem for taller adults. He seems rather short next to the car.

Meni Fo I agree

No point having a high performance car without a manual transmission option. Automatics are boring to drive.

You'll love an Auto if you spend 2 hours in rush-hour traffic every day and your left leg starts looking like a Quarterback's.
Lol but they’re faster
OK If you believe that :-D being faster is completely off topic...I was just saying there should be a true manual option. There's people out there who are manual enthusiasts.
The exterior reminds of a Toyota Celica future.....
V8 next puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze
Korean Copy Cats with less Quality and a Diesel ??? WTF a Diesel in this Car ??
Funhubble there is no diesel option...
In Germany is the 2.2 CRDI diesel with 200 HP !!
Terribly lame delivery, annoying intonation and lacklustre fuzzy review.
C class interior ripoff and the grill is BMW-like
