So interesting. Lucky New Zealand doesn’t have them, but starting to understand why we have such strict bio security at the borders. EDIT: I know we have bora beatle, when you showed the product and check out you Attic 2 x per year, I realised I have inspected the attic for two years. Hideous job as all the insulation has to be lifted.
I feel your pain. It is already December, so much cooler here, and I still have one attic I haven't inspected. It's tight and cramped and lots of nails protruding from under the roof but at least no insulation. I just need to make myself go do it.
I had a termite problem of the little pests constantly trying to crawl up with their dirt tunnels up the concrete pilings under the house. Old tyme remedy = fire ants. They love to eat termites like popcorn! End of problem!
Dang termites.
Not exactly my words, but close.
I'm glad we don't really have termites where I live. Of course, the trade off is a cold, snowy winter 6 months of the year.
That would be a hard choice. I just hate to be cold.

Nature's own system of checks and balances.
