When you start watching this thinking “oh, I could do that” turns into “ now I know why I pay what I do for quality work” way to go! Gorgeous’
That's the single realization a lot of people never get to because they never actually try. But, like everything in life, skill like this begins with a serious love of the craft, a good teacher/mentor and progresses through thousands of hours and even more board feet of material to get there. Like all those air guitarists out there, most of the lookie-loos just go through life thinking that because Yoda makes it look easy, it must be easy. Or, they spend a truckload of money buying all the coolest toys before they realize the toys won't run themselves and outthinking a door hinge is on a level with raising an X-Wing from a swamp. They give up and go home.
coda creator absolutely! Watching these videos give me mad respect. I think if I personally had the money to buy the tools (even just the basics as he was suggesting options for getting a similar result), and the space I would have a different story. My first love and craft is hair dressing. Been doing it for 23 years. I have everything anyone could need to succeed there. When I retire my dream/goal is a carpenters shed or 3 car garage so it can be achieved!

I know that some would consider by always using LEDs is ridiculous, but hey it's the things he likes so it's up to him and is just fine. But for sure his DIY videos are just awesome and give me more understanding how to make better woodworking items.. 😊

Out of all the diy videos I’ve seen making dog crates I found this one the easiest to follow. It wasn’t complicated and didn’t use hard to acquire equipment.

I think u have some of the coolest ideas around and ur production and the way ur narration make these ideas so doable to thr people out here who wouldn’t even know where to start with these sort of projects...like me. Ur natural way of communication method really helps and omits the fear people have of even attempting to build something like this with their own hands. Thank you for what u do.
Most people don't think about the height of the crate. The dog needs to be able to stand tall and comfortably. They don't think that the dog might need space for growth, also. Looks like Thor has room to be comfortable!! Love it!!
Great idea with the laminate flooring! So much easier to keep clean and can always be replaced.

Very creative idea, really! I’ve not tired the gel finishes yet but you may have convinced me. I built the wife and I a dog storage box that looks like a traditional dog house with the dog opening just painted on. She, and the dog love it. (Of course, he liked the old ratty one also, treats are treats!) I may have build something like this...dogs have it made around here and dog items sell!

Awesome project, I built one for my Labrador retriever, the main difference is that I installed a piano hinge on the top, this has allowed us to clean the crate from all the wood chips that the pup is producing... He is eating the crate!!
