Alok you are right on gold. But sovereign gold bond is the worst assset it is not gold it backed by gold .buy physical gold for the ultimate default. If the government accross world default it is naive to think your government will pay you in gold at time of crisis give it your views on it
Yes you are right...that is why I invest in physical gold... SGB is still a paper asset

If we buy gold for 10% of the total assets i.e. 100%, how much will that 10% gold help to hedge the remaining 90% of the assets , So sir I think buying gold cannot hedge our larger equity portfolio in any way. Instead, gold can be good diversification 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
