Oh my Paula I had Tinker Bell make up (loved the polish too) when I was little - I can't believe that because I am now 71 so I guess there have been a bunch of little girls get their start in make up with Tinker Bell. LOL I had a quilted dressing gown too. Mine was pink with lots of lace. Glad your mum is doing better. I say have your Christmas dinner early so you can put up your feet and enjoy "playing" with the new presents. 😍😍🎄🎁

I had cow plates, soup bowls, chucking something down the back of the telly for a new one, chicken pox parties 😂😂 My girls even had Roland rat jumpers and handmade quilted dressing gowns!!! Oh my how you’ve cheered up my day. Lizzy needs her magical world of Father Christmas book…. Which i got ages ago for my granddaughter Happy Christmas to you all 💖💖

I used to find all the hidden presents when I was little before Christmas and then eat the monkey nuts 🥜 Brazil nuts sweets all Christmas morning from about 4am after sneaking downstairs- my mother would get the vacuum out and find all the selection box papers under the sofa! 🤭😂🤣😹 Lizzy is a pretty girl! When you were explaining about your favorite game, Frog Game, Lizzie made a face just like James’. I have that TY Cow. Years ago my daughter and I saw it laying on the ground as we took a walk. It was still there the next day and it was wet from the rain. We rescued it and it sits on my bed.

I'm with Lizzie, I don't feel at all Christmassy. Had a go at making Stollen today, hubby and I tried the knob end which understandably was a little dry, lol. Will let it improve with age as suggested. Apparently it will keep for almost a month in an airtight tin. xx

Arthur Christmas is my current favourite Christmas because my grandson and I have watched it together several times each year since it came out but I’m annoyed because this week Netflix decided to charge $4.99 to rent it😳talk about a grinch. All Christmas shows should be free all of December, money grubbing thieves. We also watch the Prep and Landing ones as well. I’m not very Christmassy this year either, my 19 year old beautiful Siamese cat died last week. We had his burial and memorial on Monday and I just haven’t had much energy to do baking or wrapping , only put my tree up yesterday and then mostly so the grandkids wanted to. I hope reading the books and watching her favourite movie helps the spirit come back for her. ☃️🎄☃️🙋🏼♀️
