I came across a sock yarn the other day that includes a spool of nylon thread to reinforce the toes and heels. Apparently you knit it in with the yarn. I thought that was a brilliant idea. It might sort out James' holey toe issue... The yarn was Lang Yarns 'Jawoll'.

When you get both machines in good working order I suggest you use the Brother for the free motion embroidery and your newer one as your main sewing one. Good work around for that pesky feed dog problem. Hugs

It looks like you’re having lovely weather in the UK. We actually had our first snowfall yesterday in northern British Columbia 🇨🇦. It will be gone by the end of the day. Gary is so cute. My husband (Garry) laughed when I told him your puppy’s name. Gary will eventually be more settled and suitable for apartment living. He is just being a normal Puppy. My Garry is quite settled already.😂

❤just want to say, it’s lovely and relaxing to watch you. Please try to stop saying that you’re boring. You are not. Besides, if we wanted excitement and thrill, we’d be watching videos of people being chased by lions or of giant tarantulas jumping out at people.

Thanks for always putting a smile on our faces, even in not the best of moods you manage it. Loved spending September with you all. As for the tea situation we always put the milk in first, tea made in a teapot, warmed first too. I think the reason milk was put in first was to protect fine bone china, and I always prefer a china mug xx❤ look forward to seeing you soon

I am really enjoying watch your September vlogs. It’s like being a fly on the wall… spying into your daily routine ☺️. Especially the seeing your animals even though i hv plenty of my own. It is very nosey of me. But i would love to see more of your lovely bits and bobs. For example….what looks like, little tins on the shelf in your bathroom. I love all that sort of thing.
