Three Day Bikepacking Adventure | Stealth Bivi Camping
Вставка
- Опубліковано 22 кві 2023
- This was a planned trip with fellow cyclist Ian / @mortyoutdoors7109 who has done lots of stealth bivi style camping solo and also with James from / @cycling4cakenotts . Give James a sub and checkout his content.
We initially planned for the week before but the weather scuppered us , so we chose these days and the weather gods supplied us with dry sunny weather.
It was a mixture of canal, bridleways, tracks and roads in a big circular route from Selby taking us across the Humber bridge and back to the vehicles.
It wasn’t a race so we were just steady away taking all the views in , here’s our strava links anyway .
A very enjoyable trip with a few laughs along the way , and this is just our take on it . Mostly filmed on GoPros hero 10/11 and footage from Ian’s iPhone .

Dear friend thank you so much for your great videos I love it so much specially the nature if GB GOD blessed both of you for ever
A great thanks from Glendale California Jerry
Thanks for watching and commenting , much appreciated atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍
Crikey Dave. I've just signed onto your channel, this is the second video and you've lost gear. First was leggings and now your phone. Think I'm a bad omen. 😂
lol nah I’m just a clumsy clown , I did get the phone back 😂 since then I have quad mount for it. I need to anchor stuff to the bike better lol
Hey Ian... wheres James :) great to watch... often fancy riding that way down
James will make an appearance this year on a trip ⛺️🚲👍
Covering the bike overnight was a good move. The tent was a tad small for me, but that little vango is cheap and probably a good choice for summer camping, not to mention it’s lightweight. A great vid, you do look like you’re enjoying the trip. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍
Thanks for sharing. Have cycled so many of these places many times while cycle touring. Bringing back so many memories. Pity you missed the hall in Blacktoft where you could have made a brew
@@brendacupryna631 thanks for watching , yes it was a very enjoyable trip. Looking forward to hitting the trail again next month atb Dave
Are you related to Martin Zero on UA-cam. Ya don’t half have a look of him, but a completely different accent. Nice videos by the way. Just started myself, but on my other channel *Grandad Rambles*
Ha ha no relation at all lol
Hiker Biker or Walkling as we call it - nice trip May try some of it on the Brompton 😊
Thanks , plenty of good routes for the Brompton 👍
What bike did Ian ride in this trip, Dave. Looks a goodun 👍
Just watched all of this Dave. Well done chaps - a great account of a great ride 👍👍
Hi, it’s Ian from the video, it’s a Lynskey Viale titanium road frame I built up for touring, it’s got a 29er carbon fork to fit a comfortable, wide tyre up front, because it’s their touring frame I can fit a 700 x 32 or if I run a 26” back wheel can fit a 42mm tyre, it’s got rack and mudguard mounts so is a nice bike for multi day trips, thanks for your nice comment👍🏻
@@mortyoutdoors7109 thanks Ian. That's a great looking bike. Thanks for the details and keep up the good work with Dave there 🚲👍👍
🍻
🥶🍺🚲⛺️👍
Hi Ian nice to see you out and about again but shouldn’t you be wearing a bike helmet?.
