Hi it's me Mike from the movie, traveling from Woodbridge to Land's End. I HAVE reach Land's End on Friday noon, after 6days and 3h. I hope to see you again.
I am always happy when I see your videos, they really destress me even though I am not doing anything but watch you and your friends. They do make me happy, thank you keep them coming. XX
Hi Sandy..stopped in at Krumbz last Wednesday on your recommendation from a previous vid.. brilliant full English..highly recommend this place…Mentioned to the proprietor if he knew of a local villain goes by the alias of Wiltshireman … said he knew you well 😆😆👍.. like the bike packing vids mate.
Another good one, sounds like the fella on the boat loves the lifestyle, I still wanna shuck it all here in Oklahoma and live in the canals of the uk, or atleast try it for a year, thanks for the video
You are in decent physical shape sandy! I havent been over a 20 mile trip in 25 years. 50 in a day at ours or any age is a workout even at an easy pace.
I've got a few aches and pains to be honest but keep on going. Biggest problem is lower back and right hip. Both have degenerative osteoarthritis now!!!
Happy Birthday Tony 🚲🙌 Sandy when I see bikes with panniers on , I say to myself get in there enjoy your adventure 🚲👏👏👏 when I see 17 odd cyclists with lycra & shaved legs peddling like a centipede I think get out the bloody way 😤 what a beautiful journey that was sandy 👌 Thankyou for taking us along ☕️👍
Happy Birthday Tony! Another well made out and about cycling! Good weather, good friends and a good trip - doesn't get any better! Stay safe and healthy!
Dave is becoming a bit of a legend on your videos Sandy and rightly so 👍👍 Be great to see him and you do a review of his new Decathlon bike in more detail. I'm looking at one of those myself 👍 keep up the good work guys, Mark
A lovely ride and camp with your friends, a dose of medicine Sandy. Happy Birthday to your friend Tony. Great to see the horse rider’s having such good manners, something sadly lacking in today’s society.
Happy Birthday to Tony🍰, yet another enjoyable episode Sandy 👍 couldn’t help thinking that it was a little like the last of the summer wine on push bikes, not quite sure who would get the honour of being Compo 🤷♂️ hope you make many more videos, they really are something to look forward to, all the the best and take care Sandy, Baz and Hev
Love the video as usual, Sandy. You guys are really fit, and you narrate your journeys beautifully. You take you're viewers to places they would never see unless they themselves ventured off the beaten track, most of us leave all the puffing and panting to you guys while we watch you from the comfort of our home's. Great video many thanks.👍👍❤️
Hi Sandy. I watch cycling videos almost every day, and this is the most joyful one that I can remember. It was so uplifting and positive. Superb English countryside, excellent company, gentle humour and really good editing. Many thanks from myself (once a Warminster lad) and my wife.
Hi Sandy, great video. I saw you stop outside my house on Chopping Knife Lane but was on the phone otherwise I would have shouted 'hello' from the window. I did give you a wave but you didn't see. I guessed you might be heading to Krumbz, great cafe 👍. I'll bump into you on a ride one day I'm sure, all the best 😁
I might be bias, but Tony has a great name. Happy birthday, great way to spend your time. Sandy, it just dawned on me that in these videos, if you think about it, there is so much of land not inhabited. The scenery was fantastic to see. Thanks for sharing. Tony.
Great video over familiar territory… I’ve just finished the King Alfred’s Way…. hard work & some stiff climbs but loved it… did it on a mountain bike over 4 days… I fully recommend it 👍
Nothing short of exceptional that Sandy .happy birthday Tony! .Sandy -how did you find the helmet - you kept taking it off - was it lacking a bit of ventilation?
What a lovely video, beautiful scenery along the river side. Interesting set ups for bikes, camping and cooking. I'm of a similar age to you all, I've lived in southern Spain for the last 20 years but originally from the UK Staffordshire /Derbyshire moorlands. When the weather is kind England is beautiful to cycle in. F. J. Miele in stag ram.
Looked like Tony had a memorable Birthday. Sandy it sounded like you said that you used to fly para-motors. If so, that is awesome. You and I have a lot in common. I still have a powered parachute but have not flown it for years. I have a good quality mountain bike as well. I put quite a few miles on it in the past mostly traveling mountain horse trails. I am very impressed by the distance that you fellas traveled in the video.
Hi Lonnie, Yes I used to fly paramotor but retired from it a couple of years ago, in total I had around 160 flights mostly enjoyable but I did have a few bumpy thermic rides too:) A bad ankle and poor situational awareness made me decide to keep my feet on the ground. I couldn't manage reverse launches no matter how hard I tried due to a slight balance problem I have when I turn quickly (all down to a type of brain tumour called vestibular schwannoma) that I had a few years ago. Atleast I was able to tick the paramotoring off my bucket list! You will find some paramotor videos on the playlist on my channel. Hope you and Connie are both keeping well. Sandy
Hi Sandy, you chose a nice loop to celebrate Tony Birthday, and test out Dave’s new bike. I did that loop in the reverse direction some years back, from what I can remember the canal path appeared to be less over grown for you. It a lovely ride along canal between Hungerford and Reading well all the way to Bath really. Great to see you all out enjoying your off road adventure. Oh Happy Birthday to Tony. 🎂🎂🚵♂️🚵♂️🚵♂️. Nice to see your drone shots, they always give an added view to area’s we often pass . Cheers
It's a nice loop Charles, if your ever interested in joining us for a bike packing adventure just say, Dave and I hoping to do the King Alfred's way in a month or two, although we may alter it a bit as we have both done part of the Ridgeway and Thames path sections
When I see you've done another video, Sandy, especially a cycling one, I get all excited and think to myself - "Oh goody!" - and if I'm not able to watch it immediately, I look forward so much to watching it later, usually with my husband who enjoys them as much as I do. So I will wait patiently for Husband to finish washing up after tea (it's his turn) and then we'll watch this latest one, and them I'll comment again!
Another very enjoyable evening's viewing! Mind you, with reference to your video where you talk about slow cycling, I wouldn't call 50 miles a day slow....
We spent a few days at the canals in Marlborough back when, and spent a lot of time at Weyland’s Barrow and the Ridgeway (the Old Straight Tracks) back a bunch of years. Great country. Quite the nice video. Happy Birthday Tony!
This is definitely the best video yet Sandy. Brilliant and inspiring trip. Be great to see you and Dave do more trips like this on the Bromptons and the touring bikes 👍 take care, Mark
Happy birthday Tony mate, hope you had an awesome day mate. Seeing you ride into Newbury and knowing that my dad worked alongside the canal, at the Social club there, got me thinking of my dear old dad and then the trip to Hungerford...just under the bridge was where we used to do a bit of shopping when I visited him. What a happy and refreshing video.. thank you. I like to ride sections of the Kennet and Avon Cycle Routes.. as it is on my door step also... I do like the Bristol to Bath section 👍
Dear Sandy love your videos , cycle camping , walking or motorbike trips. All the very things I also love doing and also a similar vintage to yourself.
