- This is the 3 days of the trip made into one full video , which some people prefer.
Finally we head to Liverpool to start the Leeds to Liverpool Canal , 127 miles over 3 days in testing conditions to say the least.
Day one we set off from Liverpool in sunshine but will it last , how will the towpaths be after a never ending winter of rain.

I am a cyclist, but I do not agree with bikes being allowed on the Towpath. It's a nightmare trying to walk at the side of the canal now. It's downright dangerous.. It's like riding a bike bike on the pavement. It shouldn't be allowed.
That’s your opinion , but we always let people know we are behind them and slow right down . Problem is the amount of people we encountered with headphones on and dogs with those stupid extendable leads , now those types shouldn’t be allowed because they have no idea what is going on around them.
So please let me know we’re we can cycle , as car drivers on the roads don’t like sharing it with us ??
It always makes me smile when members of the public in a public place, object to other members of the public being there, stay in your back garden or accept there are other people in the country😂
That’s almost like a car driver say cyclists shouldn’t use the road. As long as it’s all done with respect and safety what’s the issue?
There always 1.....social media is made for people like this . The path is there for ALL 2 use. There are irresponsible walkers/dog walkers/ cyclist etc.......everywhere, be it path, Road, bridleway. Just get on with it.
More important things in life. Don't like it, don't watch. Simple.
These guys come across as genuine decent blokes
I have a hot safety tip - " as a cyclist on tow paths I always have my arm bands inflated !"

Great video, I’ll be doing the same before the end of the May 24. You’ve put it into perspective what to expect.
Hopefully it will be a lot drier on the tow paths , have a great trip atb Dave 🚲👍

great stuff but looks like it was tough going you too should head to spain cycle the camino from bilbao to santagio brilliant tour and great roads super weather.

However what a great effort, specially with all that shit weather / cycle conditions and all that equipment you took.
I like my home comforts 😂 but yeah I could have lightened it a bit more , especially if we knew the weather would stay nice 😎👍 atb Dave

did Hadrian’s wall a few years back, must of took 100lb burgen with me !!! Used about 20% of the kit.
