You can also use a multi-band comp on your melodies and side chain to 808 so that the low end remains until the 808 hits. Good tips LS keep em comin' 👌🙏
Been using fl since #3 and back when soundclick forums were goin and feed for feed really started, raised a kid that’s in college now, been fitting makin music in my spare time, sacrificing sleep. Getting back into it heavy now. Learning a lot from you man!!!! Keep this going, you are teaching!!! My newest stuff sounds better than ever!!!
More of these mixing videos please, imo you are the best on youtuber at teaching and explaining this kind of thing. Also I trust what you're saying because of how clean the mixes on your beatstars are 💯
I appreciate all of these tutorials you've been dropping bro thanks to your help I'm coming up with creative ways to mix on my own keep up the amazing work man
Great work again! You’ve been super helpful to me as I’ve returned to music after a long break. Got my first handful of beats and going to start pushing my own music on some new socials! Thanks for you help and giving us useful info 🙏🏻
If I did things like this for one melody in my beats I'd probly take days to finish a beat maybe several lol. Awesome tutorial!! Amazing how you can subtly give a melody a whole new feel to it without changing or chopping it up at alll. Great work!
Man i was using some plugins wrong on some of my beats (e.g. delay, reverb) thinking about reuploading some of my beats after hearing the new mixing on them thx lifestyle
It sounds good as instrumental but could vocals ever have a chance to sit on this mix with such a omnipresent melody taking over all bands?? I am still a noob excuse me if this is a stupid question but I am really curious...
I got a video suggestion for you: how to make hard bass lines. The tutorials on youtube suck because the basses won’t even hit hard from low 20 herz to 200 herz but they’re rather those constant sub basses only peeking at a particular frequency and sitting in the background
Recently I’ve been trying to practice using busses in my mixing. I had a question.. with melodies, should I send a melody/counter melody to a bus with fx or put the effects on them separately? I’m sure it depends on desired result as well.
Good stuff! I like to link my reverb and delay to a peak controller of the melody bus aswell, ducking the effects whenever plucks hits making them stand out more but still fill the empty space inbetween!
I have a problem, when i make a beat and listen it on monitors and headphones the melody sounds great but when I listen it on my phone the melody becomes way too loud. Somebody help me? Should I just make it more quiet

Gravy Muzik yes sir! Multi band Sidechain is the best

awesome bro! really helpful as always, never stop the hustle
Hello, do you put any effects on the melody before the rendering, or it 's better to render the melody without any effets on it ? Thanks

doubleU smart way of doing it!
A lot of Omnisphere presets have reverb and delays inserted within the vst? Do you turn those off or just put more reverb and delay over it?

Joseph Gonzales yes.
Mr. Rewind yes to what ?

what transition is that in the beat at the beginning of the video
I have a problem, when i make a beat and listen it on monitors and headphones the melody sounds great but when I listen it on my phone the melody becomes way too loud. Somebody help me? Should I just make it more quiet
Maybe because the phone is in mono and there is clashing? Try checking how it sounds in mono in your DAW
