- In this video I do a walk around/test ride of my 1992 Yamaha Seca II 600 Project Bike. I spent alot of time over the winter fixing all the problems with the bike and cleaning and restoring it. I had bought a bike brand new out of High School just like this one. Kind of reliving my youth lol.

The 93' Yamaha Seca 2 was my first "road" bike. I bought it the same day I graduated high school. Ride it to Myrtle Beach, SC (350 miles) the next day. Rode that bike for 2 years before trading it in on another. What great memories!
I got my first one right out of high school. I am now reliving my younger years 🤣. Thanks for watching and commenting
Man, it looks fantastic Carl, you did a great job. Nothing wrong with feeling 20 again mate, That's how my second bike makes me feel too. Stay safe my friend.👍🇦🇺
Yes have fun while you can!!! Thanks Tim
Nice looking bike and great recap video! BOOM! Hope you can find your grandfathers bike.
Me2 but I need a bigger garage 😂
Beautiful!! Your hard work has paid off! Enjoy and stay safe!
Thanks enjoy this riding season and be safe
Soooo JEALOUS! .. I mean...congratulations. I just did the math in my head. Forgot how long ago 1992 is. It still looks like a modern bike! She hold ups well, and looking gorgeous!
Thanks it photographs well I still need to work on the bars snd getting the engine a little cleaner. Thanks for checking it out
Damn she's looking beautiful. So clean for a 92
Thanks im loving it as a second bike.
I had a black one in 1999. It was my first street bike. Yoshimura exhaust. I "upgraded" to bigger and faster bikes over the years but I wish I had kept this one around. It was cold blooded but screeamed like a banshee over 8500 RPM. Good bike to learn on as it feels a lot higher-performance than it is.
Totally agree. I had one brand new in 91. Absolutely loved it but sold it when my son was born. I had to hunt this one down and go pick it up. It was in tough shape but after the rebuild it’s awesome to have in the garage. Thanks for watching and commenting
Thumbs up great video that bike is looking sharp take care catch you later brother
Thanks MrG
The bike looks great!
Thanks for the mention - I’d really like to get something like a Late 70’s / Early 80’s Honda CB to tinker with.
Me2 I will be looking over the Summer.
Great job with that bike. It looks amazing. Good to see the classics still up and running.
Thanks It has been fun now if I can find some free time its time to ride!!!!!
My first bike from the 90's! Such a sweet ride. Thanks for taking me back :)
It takes me back to 19 everytime I ride it. Its like a time machine. Thanks for watching
Damn bro...bike is looking great outside in the sun!! Glad to see it back on the road!!
Thanks it was fun to work on and now to ride. Thanks for checking it out! So glad riding season is here.
They made these bikes well. I have one and have had it for 15 years. Its running and keeps firing up! Just posted a burnout video.

I have the same bike a bit slow of the mark but it really starts to shine at about 90k where it gives you a smooth ride
Definitely loves the higher Rpm thanks for checking it out.
This is the first bike I bought off the show room floor. $4,600. Oh to be a kid again
Same for me. I sold my fione when my son was born. But I was able to find this one and bring it back to life. Thanks for watching and commenting.
What a coincidence, sold mine when my daughter was born.
@Sanders-vo4zz a little push from my wife 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Apparently, this bike has the same engine as the F-14 fighter jet! 🔥
Not quite but close🤣
A great bike very fast
I have to get my carbs rebuild over the winter. Then it should really go!!!
Wow man looks like a brand new bike! I love "classics" like this. For anyway, the 80s and 90s will be my classics era haha
Thanks for checking it out. My work forever in progress!!
I have a 93.. it just doesn’t want to give up
I love this bike!!
I just bought exact same bike. Needs fork seals too. Got it cheap. Where I am, full sport or over 750cc and the insurance gets crazy. These still pull nice but are cheaper to insure. 8 valve so cheaper for maintenance and engine work. No shaft drive which I'm not a fan of. I rode from the 80's to 90's mostly so I like stuff from my era. I'm not into newer bikes, too much techno crap, plastic, and they look funny.
I love this bike so much. Its very fun to ride. Handling between this and my Harley are night and day. I choose what to ride usually because of my mood. Thanks for checking it out let me know if you shoot any videos of the bike.
i just bought one^^
This is a fun little bike. I may send my carbs out to be rebuilt this off season. That is one thing I will have a professional do. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@MotorcyclingwithCarl you are right mate, great little fun bike, price-performance is awesome! at least here in germany!
My best friend has a early 90's Honda cbr600 I have a Suzuki gsx600f my older son has a new Honda CBR 600rr
I love the older bikes. Maybe it just brings me back to my youth!!
Did you fix the cluch idling noice?
I didn’t hear any noise on this one but I did see a fix for it on line.
