Carl. Need to explain the concept of shock preload and how loosening or tightening changes the preload to accommodate either less weight (rider only) or more weight (rider and passenger).

You’re suppose to rap out the RPM’s in all the gears while in auto tune otherwise you’re not tuning the bike correctly to the entire range you’re testically only doing low end tuning brother. Also many different throttle positions. And every time you stop you need to click “apply” and it’ll automatically load the learned cells in your tune then automatically go back to the auto tune in the programmer until you get damn near the whole screen all green then click finish to finalize the whole tune

Thanks for the great video! I just completed mine (yet to deck it). One thing you may want to check. Although I used an impact driver to get me through the Nylock turns, I went back and torqued by hand. I wasn't satisfied with that so I looked up the torque specs for M10 class 8.8 bolts as well as the others in the kit. M10 8.8 range from 40.5-34.5 ft/lbs depending on the pitch and plating. Due to these bolts being zinc plated, but are Nylock, I settled on 35 ft/lbs. I was amazed at my inconsistency as well as the fact that none of bolts were even close to minimums especially where 3 layers of material are involved. I thought I cranked them down good. It took a while but all is now torqued evenly and I feel much better about this bolt-together trailer. I'm dragging this thing 1600 miles this summer and am a little leery.

This fuel cap is crap, the lock mechanism tends to break and it will leave you with a permanently locked fuel tank, imagine that on a long trip. It is just stupid. You have to unlock it using a cord to strangle the cap and rotate it to pull it out. My personal recommendation is not to buy this POS.

Hi, I have had a 2009 Harley Davidson sportster custom xlc1200 for a while now and found out it had the progressive 412 rear shocks on it when I bought it. Ride seems to feel stiff there even with an extra pad on my seat and an extra pair of shorts that have padding on it. Not sure how to go about adjusting it for a softer ride. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a 2022 Harley XL883N Iron 883. I was wondering about the battery, I don't know if my bike has a lead acid or lithium battery and how can you tell between the two. Would you know anything about the 2022 bikes. I just purchased a battery tender from the Harley dealership and I want to make sure I choose the right setup for my tender.

Didnt work on my 2021, indicators flash OK, just on the dash it flashes fast but only on Left and Right turn. The hazards flash normal and so does the dash on that option.

All fine until you foul the plugs trying to start it, while waiting for the battery to warm up. I want to see this on a bigger bike in cold weather. I would check to make sure the other bikes trickle charger is working.

Website shows "Unavail" but I went to HF during the 3 day 15% off anything $10 or more, and purchased this. I notched it down over $80 off price. It's sitting in my car still in the box, but I really need to get this put together haha. I plan on making a squaredrop from this trailer, as we had mostly did tent camping - but wanted to upgrade a bit. I don't plan on ever folding it, so will remove the hindles and bolt the sides together to make it much sturdier - but should be a fun project.

These shocks are not very good, especially when 2 up.
