This is the strategy I've been using. My Etsy shop & my KDP books are all for the same customer, as well as my FB group. I started on KDP by re-purposing my best selling product from my Etsy shop. This is my mantra - "My customers are waiting for the unique message only I can deliver." 🧡
First time seeing your channel. Young lady, you so beatifully represent the best of your generation (in my opinion), being real & understanding the value of long term planning. AND I learnt some valuable tips, happily subscribed 😊.
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment, this made my day! I am so happy you learned a few things and are here to join our little community! Thank you for being here :)
Good luck on your new approach/evolution toward KDP publishing. I think you've got a good attitude and personality where you'd be successful building up a brand like Coco Wyo. I started KDP about 6 months after you and your videos are a big help to a noobie like me.
I had this exact thought the other day, niches! They have always said the riches are in the niches, yet KDP gurus never mention this, though I think they may be doing this precisely. Charlie Munger said, "Don't sell anything you wouldn't buy yourself." I am the first customer; what do I want to see...
Great video and I totally agree with your new strategy. Can't wait for the new Facebook group to be linking in with like minded people to share ideas. Thank you X X
This was really helpful, thank you, you are really great at explaining things in a way that's easy to follow. I haven't published anything yet, I'm still in the planning stage so your video came at a great time for me. I have a question if that's ok? How easy is it to have different accounts for different types of books, or for different target customers? Is this something you'd recommend doing, rather than grouping things together in one account that don't really "fit" together? Thanks!
I'm glad to hear that and welcome to the club!!! So you can't have different accounts that is against terms and conditions. What you do is have different author names under your one account. If you watch my branding video it will explain how you can have different pen names under one account. If you still need help let me know :) I think it is very important to separate them out and not group them all together.
How are your sales in the past 10-11 days of december? I am getting depressed watching other kdp users income reports and lot of sales of shitty books and I`ve got a big fat minus again just on ads. Idk what to think.. Hope you are doing much better
I can't remember if I asked you this already or not, but, what types of books are you selling and how many do you have published? My December is going a lot better than October and December. I'm sorry I know that is frustrating!
With the advent of AI, competition is going to become even fiercer in 2024. If you're in it just for the money, it's going to be a frustrating journey. KDP publishing needs to be something you genuinely love to do because it's going to take that passion to be able to compete and sustain you through long haul.

That is awesome! DO you sell books in your Etsy shop as well?
@@EmpiresFromHome no, I don't really want to do any kind of physical products in my Etsy shop. Storing things & shipping aren't my jam.
Are you doing digital products or print on demand?
@@EmpiresFromHome just digital, downloadable.
Love your 2024 plan and very excited to take the same approach. Thank you. Thank you !!
I'm so glad! Happy to help and here's to a great 2024!
My first video of yours's that I watched, I subscribed immediately 👍.
Thank you! I am happy to have you here :)

She didn’t get to the point until seven minutes into the video. You can skip the first seven minutes because it’s all the intro.
Thanks for letting others know
Excellent, and you've just confirmed for me what I've been thinking! I'm so over trends.... even on social media. Just over it. I love your videos.
Great minds think alike :) It just seems to make sense at this point in the game.
Excellent video! Thanks!🎉
Thank you!
Wow!
A lot of hard work&time to create this video for us 😊

@@EmpiresFromHome Hi, Coloring books for kids, for adults, I know pretty saturated nieches
Yes, but those are my best sellers right now. I think it is all about finding the right books to make that you can compete in easier.
