Play CAGED forms of the C chord, so 5 places and 5 forms of a chord on the neck. Next play a chromatic scale within each of those 5 forms. Any scale can be played within those forms (right? If the chromatic scale can be played within them, then ANY scale can be played within them).
@m.vonhollen6673 That’s a great way to think about it, however I didn’t really start playing CAGED till recently. I figured out a few CAGED shapes before I understood the system, and mixed it with Bar Chords and Thumb chords
