How all your music sounds when you have great hair...
some of this is interesting but most is not
It really be like that sometimes
super duper intuitive for me to learn!!!!
@@dillthoughs Glad it helped, I tried to teach it as close to the way I understand it as possible!
Great lesson. Subbed
Appreciate it🙏🏾
Play CAGED forms of the C chord, so 5 places and 5 forms of a chord on the neck. Next play a chromatic scale within each of those 5 forms. Any scale can be played within those forms (right? If the chromatic scale can be played within them, then ANY scale can be played within them).
@m.vonhollen6673 That’s a great way to think about it, however I didn’t really start playing CAGED till recently. I figured out a few CAGED shapes before I understood the system, and mixed it with Bar Chords and Thumb chords
Tools can help solve a problem. But knowledge is the best tool there is.
I learned how to do it without a capo, because I just assumed I would never remember one. Forgot to bring it to the rehearsal lmao
@ I used to call them a clutch for laziness. You get older and not everyone has the time to learn the 25 ways to do a chord haha. Sounds good man. Keep up the good work.
Juicewrld?
nay
Hello
howdy
Hell yeah
I need to learn me some theory and i understand what youre saying. Subbed!!
Diminished chords are comprised of minor 3rds stacked on each other. So if you move the shape up 3 frets, you are playing the same chord with the notes in a different order
Nice job👍 first time I’ve seen photography of a drone I believe lmao
this is fire 🔥

Thanks so much for the info 🤙🤙
@@rosalindakay5178 happy to help 🙏🏾
The JC120 is a poor man's Twin Reverb, hella character and tone but much cheaper
I have had a Twin Reverb for most of my guitar journey, and I personally believe nothing is farther from the truth, I think they are in some very different places
How does caged work?
@@JohnDoe-dn6ic It’s a series of movable shapes. The cowboy chords at the base of the neck are the basic shapes. The CAGED system is just these shapes being moved around the neck so that you know how to play a chord wherever you are
The caged system helped me so much with improvising 🤘
I usually only use it to arpeggiate, or bridge between phrases and riffs, but I think I'll add more CAGED base exercises into my routine
And subbed
🙏🏾
Realized a lot of people probably have no idea what’s going on so I made some visuals for clarity
❤
It doesn’t work for every situation, but if you use your ear, opens up a lot of sonic pathways
Could replace all that gear w mc-707
@@markusbonnet439 That would be adding more lol. The only gear necessary is the OP-1 itself, the mixer is just for the PA because I wanted to use my speakers for some guitar practice.

Yes!
I'm not disputing that motown musicians were out of this world. I will say that that's not a difficult rhythm part for a pro. You did a great job playing it too!
@@Quinn37 I’m more alluding to guitarist writing this progression. The rhythm and changes, it’s a series of 2-5-1s but the groove is immaculate
Turn your amps up
Nice!
Plays most basic blues backing beat 😂
@@commondenominator6744 oh no he's not over playing and filling but using taste and complementing what Im improvising by listening *gasp*. 😂
@studioafkai didn't say it was wrong or bad, just wouldn't say "not sure where he learned these chops"
@@commondenominator6744 idk dude, my playing was pretty basic and I messed up a slow chord change, but calling his embellishments, dynamics, and cymbal work “the most basic blues beat” sounds disingenuous. That could just be because I’ve been to a few too many blues jams and heard my share of “basic blues beats”.
@studioafkai again never said it was bad or wrong. Just wouldn't call it chops that's all I'm saying
Nice
🙏
Smooth as butter, great sound. Drummer knows when to open up those cymbals

Podgo
@@studioafkai you like it ?
@@studioafkai am planning on buying a quad cortex kind been looking at the options for others.
@@double8432 Out of all my real amps, PC amps, and what not I think I like the podgo the best. Super versatile and not overkill. It's so ergonomic Ive never felt limited with the options. I loved tinkering, but I found a few versatile setups I use for everything
