Thanks for your ideas. For me I would say: Yes to the handle bar adjustment, cooling idea, and car tire on a wing. I have a car tire and it's made a tremendous difference. The one option that mekes sense to me would be; since the Goldwing is aTouring bike, they should come with a trailer hitch as standard equipment. that way you could attach a rack or trailer with ease. Many wingers do it anyway. The rest of your ideas are good as well.
Great video! As a fellow engineer, like you I'm always looking for ways to improve things. Many of your improvement ideas I completely agree with, (for the record, I don't disagree with any of them) and hope Honda implements them. That being said, they don't help you and I with your '08 and my '05, but eventually if we live long enough and buy much newer, we may see them. I've kicked around for the last couple of years HeliBars. I'm kind of wishing I'd pulled the trigger before the pandemic when they were $849.00 and periodically on sale for $799.00. Adaptive cruise would be awesome. This weekend while riding to a family reunion, I kept waiting for the bike to go into adaptive mode since I'm used to having that feature when driving the wife's car! My top 3 would be 1. Adjustable handlebars; 2. Front/Rear cameras; 3. Tires. I'm so interested in the science behind the tires but have remained true to the OEM. I don't condemn or condone, just fascinated with the option. My only strong opinion, which is based solely on personal experience, is for my '05 currently, and as long as I remain OEM, will only be Bridgestone. Another great job and good sensible content. Thank you!
I don't know if you saw the news of a chinese company called pfmoto, which is launching a 650cc GL clone called Starship 6. Since I saw that, I thought is would be great if Honda came up with a goldwing "light", at around 250 KG and maybe between 800 and 1000 cc. I love the goldwing, but i find it intimidating.

Great job…hope they have the sense to listen! If they want return business, they should!

If only Honda would make a modern TOURER similar to pre 2018 instead of smaller lighter sporty goldwing..

I did read about the Starship 6. I agree a smaller Wing would suit many people better. I hope Honda is listening. Cheers!
It would be nice if they made a small gold wing. Like the silverwing. A bike under a 1000 cc and around 500 to 600 lbs. 😊
Honda has a 1100 touring bike. But it’s not here in North America. Only in Europe.
Got a 2023 dct wing
Sweet! I'm truly afraid to try out a 2018+ Wing, because I know I'll then want to buy one. :) Cheers!
