I had a 2 door cloth top 4x4 89 Suzuki Sidekick JL with the 1.6 inline 4, and a 5 spd manual. That thing was an absolute beast offroad. Had a 2" calmini suspension lift that gave me the option to run up to a 30 inch tire. With a few modifications your geo could be made into a fantastic offroad exploration rig.
We thought about taking it down there but it probably needs a couple grand of work to be trustworthy. We might dump the time and money into it once the house is done.
YES! I'm Japanese so grew up around Suzuki's wonderful pocket 4x4s!😂 My family moved to the Pacific coast of Canada in the 1990s and I remember my brother bought a soft top Sidekick! We had infinite fun in that thing! It was like a Billy Goat! I was very young, but remember being tossed around the seats like crazy, as we did trails through the mountains 🤣. Suzuki left Canada years ago. I only recently moved to Utah USA from Vancouver, so not sure if their departure was from North America entirely. Awesome video lol.
Thanks for watching! My dream rig is a new Suzuki Jimny but we can't get them here (as far as I know). This little Tracker is so much fun but it sure isn't anywhere near as comfortable as the new rig.
@@DrifterJourney Smaller 4x4s like that cause maximum driver fatigue lol, tossing you around like a tossed salad😂. I just read online that it is possible to get a Jimni in the US at dealers that import them from Mexico. I didn't verify it, but you should look into it! I love Jimni videos lol
@@DrifterJourney I would look into it, if you really want one! I know there are dealers out there that will exploit any and all loopholes! The newer Jimny looks great lol
It took us a while to find this one of Facebook Marketplace. There are some out there but finding one for a reasonable price, in decent shape, seems to be difficult these days. I'd say keep trying! It's a lot of fun.
Excellent...
Thanks for watching! Not many people found this video.
@@DrifterJourney I am a Geo Tracker channel....I always have my eye out for an impressive tracker run....
Also, not sure if you noticed, but your dog had a blast riding in the back....lol
@tufftrails we're excited to take it out a bit once the snow melts out in the high country here.
@tufftrails oh yeah! She loves doing anything.

Thanks for watching! It's our grocery getter rocking 30mpg still, but we might put a lift on it at some point.

I think they have to be 25 years old to import. I want a fresh one! But......maybe I need to look into things more.

Just missed one of these by minutes on Craigslist
