I kind've forgot that this is the second game jam that Brackeys has held this year, nevertheless I participated and this is the 3D First Person Wave shooter that resulted.

Very nice! The art style dug up many old memories. I remember sinking quite a few hours into SM64 DS.

Great video and well done on scoping the project appropriately to the available time. It let you make a polished project rather than a sloppy overscoped project. If you really want to get those textures good and crunchy you should try disabling mipmaps. I also reccomend a nice distance fog to give a better sense of depth.
Oh! Mipmaps! I’ve been looking for some hidden anti-aliasing that I hadn’t shut off but that’s probably it. Thank you for watching and thanks for the tips.

Quite high quality video for your sub count, impressive
There's something about the blocky artstyle of MANY DS games that looks great. It's not necessarily old and dated, but nostalgic. The Nintendo DS' library was phenomenal. Sure, you have your shovelware games, but then there's the rare gems, like Mario Kart DS, Phineas and Ferb, Animal Crossing, and others.

The editing quality of your videos are really good. Keep it up and you'll end up with a decent following, even if your games never get all that big or masterful, I mean... Look at Dani. Or, if your games do get big a masterful, you'll truly have a big channel
