Being an avid carper stuck in too many months of winter (Wisconsin), I love your videos, especially the early and late season videos where I’m either going into or coming out of winter and am eager for a good tussle! Keep up the great work!!!
Yeeeees Tom💪🎣! One of them had to have been at least 2 pounds👍😂🤏jk! Fan frickin tastic video man👌🐡! Like always keep up the hard work and tight linZ🎣🤙🐡!
Man what a awesome day! My favorite weather and when u do best on the big carp is on fall. Sunny cold days for some reason turns on the bite on my experiences. The only trick is finding the warmer spot on the lake that's where they're going to be. Even on the really colder weather. Keep up the good work man you in your wait to catch a 30lb carp . 🤜🤛🔥🔥
Hi from the uk enjoyed your vid but id try using a set of alarms and robins and fish for. Line bites cast out further and bring in your bait bit by bit until your linebites stop and the runs start to connect that way you can locate where there feeding ie how far out there feeding just an idea .
Great video! We are in Iowa as well and have taken advantage of some of these rare 70 degree days in November too! We have not found any carp that size though! Good work!
@@OutsidewithTom I think the US is miles ahead of us with regards to lure fishing, it’s something that has only just really become mainstream in the UK, where as the UK is quit ahead with bait fishing. Do you have many suppliers of dedicated carp fishing tackle out there?
@@geoffsaunderson5766 We don't have carp tackle in stores here. Most Americans consider carp a pest, and bowfishing is the most popular way to catch a carp.
@@OutsidewithTom yeah I’ve seen that, particularly with Siamese carp (that’s a 104lb wild one in the pic) zero chance of getting rid of them so may as well enjoy them, you will have some absolute lunkers lurking in your lakes by now. Also seen you have an issue with snake head, who are an absolutely cracking sporting fish, again zero chance of getting rid now so might as well enjoy them. I assume it’s illegal to catch n release these species, is it the same with commons, mirrors ect?
You should try using canned corn, with bunspice or caramel flavor, add half the container with concentrate flavour and rest vodka, let it stand a couple of days then use as bait
That was a custom hoodie I designed for myself, only 1 exists. I've got some shirt designs in the works though, probably be available sometime this winter. Thanks for watching.
Watch more of my videos, I show how the bait is made in almost every single video. You could also type the word "bait" into the search Box on my channel.
Was wondering do u have luck in heat I’m in south Texas and was wondering in your opinion is it worth when waters hot and what’s time can u still catch carp in hot weather appreciate any tips I live by 2 lake that have carp but I think it’s to hot
Outside with Tom i wouldnt mind sharing some photos I have with ya but i dont see your email on the about page. I caught 3 double digit carp since you told me your corn/oats recipe and now im hooked 😂. Thanks a ton.
@@PonyFoot123 Oh, I see now that the email only shows up on desktop, not mobile. It's outsidewithtom@gmail.com. That's awesome the bait is working good for you!
When fishing slows winter days use garlic flavoured baits do not overpower with garlic it turns them off also don’t use powder garlic use real garlic or get garlic goo or scent

You're right, that warmer water is the key this time of year. Thanks man, I appreciate it!
@@OutsidewithTom you welcome man .
Love your videos and I have learned a lot.
Glad to hear it!
Carp usually eat live bait in the winter, especially grubs and maggots, not worms so much.
Thanks for watching!
Ah man, your skunk graphic made me laugh so hard.
😁

Hi Tim.
How long do you find it takes for the corn to go on the turn please bud excellent video as usual mate
Sorry Tom predictive text changed your name with out me notice
They will last several months if kept in the fridge when not using them. The flavoring has alcohol in it, which acts as a preservative.
I found out it's a night bite in the fall
Was wondering do u have luck in heat I’m in south Texas and was wondering in your opinion is it worth when waters hot and what’s time can u still catch carp in hot weather appreciate any tips I live by 2 lake that have carp but I think it’s to hot
It's tough when the water's hot. In my experience, dusk, night, or early morning is the best bet when it's hot.
Just got back from fishing a while ago. 16.5 Ib carp in the net made my day :D
Nice! 👍👍
If you've got a pic of that fish you want to share, I'd love to see it. My email is on the About page of my channel.

What's better? Crawler or Corn.
Corn.
What size circle hook do you like the best
I don't use circle hooks.

Catfish really like the garlic baits, so I dont use it when targeting carp.
Can i ask what net you are using?
Gear list in the description.
Man thanks for the tip.
Happy to help! 👍
How to make corn good smell, pls tell me what to do bro
