Yeah, now go ahead and use all the canned fruit for chum mixture, also use some yellow maize, cook em up, mash up, let it dry, and then let it in a bag while you mix in your fruit in the can with some water, and that my friend is how a carp angler catches carp
I’ve been adding Fruit Loops to every batch of packbait I’ve made since first watching this fun video. I’ve had great success with it. I think the carp like the addition but I’ll have to admit that the kid in me likes the bright colors too! Thanks Tom!
I'm not a big 'commentor' but did want to take a minute and say love your channel and awesome seeing it grow. Hopefully with your informative videos people want to try carping and get these indoor kids outside with them. Have been sidelined all season after torn bicep tendon surgery so watching alot of videos (wishin' I was fishin'). Everyone has their own bait recipes/styles but just watched your spring 2022 cold water fishing and thought I'd mention something I've had success with in freezing water. 42oz old fash oats, box strawberry jello, molasses meal 1/4 cup (potent stuff), fishmeal 1/4-1/2 cup, red pepper flakes (for spice) and something like birdseed, cracked corn etc to adjust breakdown times for freezing water. Just another idea on bait options. Take care
Thanks for the suggestion, I might give something like that a try in the spring. Dry molasses is something I haven't considered, thanks for the idea. Glad you enjoy the videos, thank you for watching!
@@OutsidewithTom Thanks for responding Tom. Excellent!!! Looks like I have some good binge-watching to do this winter👍👍👍 QQ, do you think the ingredients they use in the UK for their Groundbait, and Method Feeders would also work on the carp here in the US? So far I’ve basically used what you use, just thinking about trying something new. Also never tried to add “Liquid Attractant”, you think that might help? Thanks so much - Joe
By watching your videos you basically have shown anything works as long as it's sweet,I was using bread crumbs, jello and corn, didn't really seem to get the job done,so I'll be adding fruit loops to my batches from now on,also I got some of the sweet horse feed you talked about in other videos, now I'm just waiting for some cooler weather and I'm gonna head out, thanks for the info man definitely needed
Just made my first batch of tiger nuts following your recipe video. I flavored with some old buttershots I found in the back of the liquor cabinet. Thanks for your videos, informative and entertaining!
I am going to use your mix here in South Africa and will give you feedback. I have had a Skunk for 16 sessions in a row!!! Some of our dams water quality is so bad due to sewage from the townships.
Hey Tom, I had a quick question about bank fishing. I have mostly rivers in my area and I swear I lose so many rigs from snagging on the bottom. How do you prevent this? I'm using a 2oz no roll sinker and wire cage method feeder.
The most American carp angler doesn’t exi… though actually, I always love someone to fill the U.S carp fishing niche when cats and carp left.

Really enjoy your lay back style and you always give out pointers. I am 70 and you have made me a better carp fishermen. Thanks
I really appreciate the kind words, thanks David.
The carp you catch eat better breakfast than I do 😂
A lot of times, what I eat for breakfast isn't all that much different from my carp bait. 😀
Love you inventive DIY method! Very informative !
Thanks Richard.
Love your videos please keep going I wish I was there even just watching you bringing them in ❤

I’ve used Fruit Loops in my pack-bait mix the last two times out….. Good success. Even had a double yesterday.
Nice!

What a great day!!! Don’t know how I missed this video - I thought I’ve watched all of yours🙄
A lot of fun to watch👍

Glad you enjoyed it. There are nearly 300 videos on my channel, there's probably a few more you haven't seen. 😁

Glad you're finding the videos useful, good luck!
Can't wait to buy some spicy tiger nuts.
Big fish and lots of 'em. Awesome! I have a friend who always puts Fruity Pebbles in his pack mix. Cereals ate a popular additive!
👍

Right on, I hope you catch a giant fish with your homemade bait! 👍
love the idea of fruit loops !
Great video man love the channel for sure keep them coming !!!!!!!!!!!
Appreciate it!!
The carp love fruit loops! I remember the first month of using hair rigs I was using fruit loops to practice putting on the hair haha great video!
Haha, nice.

Good luck!
Well done. I used dry fruit loops in my spod mix once. Stuff came to the surface in seconds. Imagine that. The local ducks liked it.
If you grind them and add just a tiny amount of moisture, like what would be stuck to sweet corn, the stuff is amazing to add to mixes or pack baits
😂
that seems like an awesome spot, great day! Carpe Diem!😊
A great day indeed, thanks Garrison!
Good job I'll to try that !
Good video Tom
Thanks!

Only thing you can do is find new places that aren't so snaggy.
Your bank sticks look pretty sturdy, what kind are they?

out of curiosity Tom, what is your Carp PB?
Common 24, Grass 38. You?
@@OutsidewithTom nowhere near that lol, 10.5lbs Common and yet to catch a grass!
@@brettsfishingdiaries No worries, it's not a competition. Fun is the only thing that counts.
@@OutsidewithTom absolutely, i just enjoy the day, catch or not...
What type of rod/reel set up you got??

Why don't you use jello in your pack bait
Because I'm a weirdo.
But I mean you catch fish so you may not be a weirdo
