Same here, last carp catch was Oct 23. Hung up the carp gear a couple weeks ago. Filming date is always in the video descriptions if you're interested. Thanks for watching!
Enjoy watching you fight 3 fish at once good way to slowly shut down the season. Even through I live out in Calif. ( don't tell anyone) things are slowing down here also, water getting in the high 50's. Really enjoy all your videos this year Tom thanks. Spring will be here before we know it.
I fish two different lakes for the most part so the heaviest weight that I have is two ounces I can usually get away with the one ounces. Setting my alarm for midnight tonight. Gonna be just above freezing so I can not worried about water skiers Most of the public boat docks around here are pulled up. Still a few musky fishermen out there. Too many teeth for me I stick to mostly catfish.
At what temperature do you stop fishing for the season, or do you fish until the ice starts? The snow line is moving down the mountain, and my lake is getting cold.
This year I stopped fishing for carp when the water dipped below 50, which was about 3 weeks ago. They can still be caught in cold water, but the bite is so slow I'd rather do more productive things with my time.
Thanks for another great video. On the topic of sweet feed. I barely used half of the bag that I bought this years spring. If stored in a dry and relative cool place, do you think the feed is still good to use come spring 2025? I can always using it for chumming (even though typically I do not chum). Thanks

Do you have enough time working the new Daiwa Emcast reels, to give an opinion on them?
One full season, hundreds of fish caught, zero problems. I love those reels. Link is in the description.

@OutsidewithTom Completely agree. With the cold weather, I'm switching to Razor clams, Dungeness crab, and Steelhead.

Yeah, seal it up best you can and it should be fine. I've got about 20lbs leftover that I'll be saving for next season.

that tree on your right is a constant pain in your keester. It does add a bit of drama to your vids though.
Hopefully the ice will break that thing off and push it away this winter.
@@OutsidewithTom I keep waiting for you to cut it down Tom
