Your fact-checking is terrible. Bob Hite owned the property in the late 60s and early 70s his house was destroyed in a flood. Alan passed away on the hillside behind the house on Sept 3 1970 the home that is standing now was started in the early 1990s and was also destroyed by a flood. Alan Wilson is always so misunderstood. A musical genius and one of the first environmentalists of the 60s, Alan spent every moment he could close to nature. That is why he slept in the backyard
Topanga is a very cool place except for one problem: fires.... Regular fires driven by the dry Santa Ana winds that sweep through the area every couple of years incinerating everything in their path. Too bad these rockers didn't build their dream house out of wood, then it wouldn't be defacing Topanga as it does now.
This house was like the 3rd one on the property. First one burnt down , rebuilt, flooding took the other house and this one built but problems with the ground stopped construction
Are There Any Pics Of This house From Way Back When It Was First Constructed/Lived in To See It In its own "Beauty" Of No Graffiti? The Graffiti There is colorfull & Has many Many Dollars worth Of Paint On the "Whats left" Of the house. But Original Pics would be Nice.... Thanx
I lived in Woodland Hills all thru the 90’s, drove Topanga to the coast thousands of times. That house with its curving walls was started and abandoned in the 90’s.
Always interesting to me seeing UA-cam videos of places I visited in my 70/80’s teenage years.
