Capital ships that can move around a bit. Fleet combat. Space sectors with 3-6 planets or capturable areas - be it a planet, hyperspace hub point, an asteroid, or an empty hyperspace segment that only goes two ways to control access. And a GALAXY MAP. Tens of thousands of players, potentially, with AI on both sides to ensure the game feels large and filled with combat in case there is a lack of players. Teams of up to 100 players each on the largest maps. Slightly similar to PlanetSide 2 at its highest player counts. As players secure small victories and up to conquering entire systems or sectors, they get points and credits that can be put into buying new stuff, and to pour funds towards boosting your entire faction. A few new starfighter squadrons, a frigate, and eventually a capital ship which will be assigned to a sector - funds being poured by players into teh sector they want more ships and vehicles to appear in - up to a limit, then it's filled. And as once side wins teh entire conflict, they get a few bonuses - but the enemy gets 'comeback bonuses' to make it a little bit easier to win the war next time. Like a weekly or monthly reset or somesuch. Or just make it a single-player game with less heavy focus on multiplayer. Or just give us a new Republic Commando. More missions than the original, and sometimes we go visit Delta Squad's Mission Headquarters, which would likely be on a custom-fitted Acclamator or Venator, giving us some freedom in which missions to play and in what order, but some missions are locked to happen after a number of free missions have been done. If I were going to make Battlefront 3, I would start by remastering the original Battlefront 1 and 2 maps while adding new areas to them where appropriate or in the case of Geonosis, I might mesh the two maps together somehow. I would also add maps from planets in the clone wars series. As for how the trooper classes would work, it would be similar to the original Battlefront 2, except the Clones would carry thermal detonators and emp grenades. Also, the jet trooper's emp launcher would get the original Battlefront 1 animation and sound. The clone commander would dual-wield pistols instead of having the chaingun. I would add the Clone commando, droid commando, imperial commando, and rebel commando as playable classes. Then, the space battles would feature players being able to control their sides capital ship and frigates, while other players control fighters and boarding craft. The smaller craft would launch from the frigates and the capital ship. The boarding craft can land in enemy hangers to prevent them from launching fighters and give saboteurs the opportunity to destroy the ship from the inside. I would alter Jango fett so he has his dual pistols. I would add Ahsoka Tano, Savage Oppress, the Grand Inquisitor, and Ezra Bridger as playable heroes for their respective eras. I wouldn't include anything that happens after episode six.
This mod made regular droids a real threat you can barely see em thehace such a small silhouette the first clones on geonosis must've really took a beating

They can absolutely keep getting away with this
I wish we had a modernized version of Galatic Conquest from SWBF2 (2005) nowadays.
It was so fun back then
Same. Actually been playing some splitscreen of the original recently.
Coolest Insurgency mod ever.
As a longtime enjoyer of IS and BF this an absolute treat, this is a gift to the community from people that genuinely have the love and passion for this stuff.
Thank you for bringing this to us.
This is massive…
Xbox users are crying. Aka me
come on trooper! build up that pc!
It's the same with me 😢
To be fair, insurgency is still a brilliant game. But this is just too good
@@ctmarine9100 get a decent gaminglaptop, i run snadstorm on my delta 15 really smooth, i can run newest games aswell with smooth 120 fps. it cost me around 1,100 gs.
F's for boys
I by far enjoy scifi on the small scale. Faceless space infantry, regular dudes. We dont need every story to be a hero story.
Modders are so much better than developers nowadays. If this is what the new battlefront would be like, man it would've been so cool. But we have it now
that air strike was cold
5:20 glorious, i can listen to this non-stop
I saw the hud and immediately recognized sandstorm insurgency
This is absolutely INSANE!!!
We just need to get these guys over to OHD now instead of Insurgency
more proof that actual fans will always do it better than those "people" who hate it despite being in control of it.
Incredible. Can you imagine this for Republic Commando?
We shall watch your career with great interest.
I think helldivers 2 would make a fantastic candidate for a star wars conversion
I believe the genosis map is a port from Republic commando, just upscaled in Unreal. Very nice! 👍
Would be cool to hear the clones screaming contact [direction] whenever being shot at.
Based
I am honestly shocked this is Insurgency Sandstorm
I'D BUY THAT FOR A THOSAND DOLLARS
als, hilarious how a moto i made 4 years ago still holds up. "Todays modders are tomorrow's developers"
Journalists were saying that exact phrase when Skyrim mods started appearing.
This is honestly amazing what modders can do. They need to license to build a swbf3 as they have the passion for it
It's a shame it had to come from a mod in a game I didn't really find all that fun.
would love a Jedi Temple map or even an Umbara one
They're using the correct alphabet callouts!
Almost thought this was Galactic Contention for Squad, got to support that mod too it's a great one.
10:56 banana clips, bullets, and ammo crates in a Star Wars game
Love ur channel man keep it up
It's Battlefront EA if EA had stumbled across something resembling a human soul.
It's every squad based game that always gets a star wars mod
This reminds me of when I modded XCOM 2 into Star Wars and it made me wonder why they don’t do this kind of game with Star Wars.
I haven't played a video game since halo2 but i love watching games being played and i want to see more of this!
My computer would die trying to place this but this is so awesome
as someone who only has an xbox one s. I'm not gonna buy another new gen console but a PC! Mods are just way too amazing! lol
This mod made regular droids a real threat you can barely see em thehace such a small silhouette the first clones on geonosis must've really took a beating
This looks absolutely insane for a mod!
I wonder if someone will decide to make a Halo version
i remember seeing this mod a few years ago and i wasn't too impressed at the time, what incredible progress
My favorite thing about this mod already is the battle torn armor. Looks better than the always pristine look with ea bf.
10:00 kills four teammates 😂
Can we appreciate the Insurgency devs here. The only reason this is possible is because the base game already has such solid mechanics. This is just building on all off the existing mechanics, reskinned with a few unique features.
Wow looks way better than when I played the first time the maps and ai weren’t this good
wait a moment, *I own this game*
*goes to instantly download this*
This looks like what Battlefront II (2017) could have been. Still playing the game and love the Heroes vs Villains game mode
not enough thermal detonators flying around
Oh, this is just Insurgency.
Leave it to modders to make a good battle front game. The love the real star wars community has almost unmatched
This straight up looks like battlefront 4 its so polished
I only planned to watch the beginning and I stuck around til the end
I love anything Goldeneye/James Bond related!
Original trilogy setting would be much appreciated
All the modders that make star wars mods seem to focus only on clone wars and maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I think it’s boring
I love the prequels but the original trilogy is the best it truly has the charm factor
This mod looks great for sure and I’ll be checking it out just for the pure reason it’s star wars
Real, I’ve got no interest in in clone troopers, I wanna be a strormtrooper, or an EU dark trooper or fight the new republic as a pentastar stormtrooper
@@dimitris2936 thank you at least I’m not the only one who feels this way
@@tylerbarr5733 I think arma has good mods atleast
This is absolutely f**king incredible
This is exactly what we want as star wars fans
welp now i have a reason to get insurgency sandstorm
It’s depressing that imo the best Star Wars gaming experiences u can get on console is playing the force unleashed games timeless classics and the battlefront mod for contractors on quest vr it’s very good
Literally could not be happier
