Easily the most underrated thing about this tutorial is his block choice. It's SUPER easy to count the smooth stone just to double check his math and your own. Most builders would use bricks, stone, planks, etc for their guides, but that can make it INCREDIBLY hard to count the blocks to double check due to the repeating texture. The smooth stone is so easy to count due to its simple light gray texture with a dark gray border. So thank you for that. Its one of the things I struggle with in other build guides
it works???
@@LCzinn_xit yes and it works insanely well if youre in the ocean too
@@Bread011 did it in mountain cuz ocean is like 4k blocks + away, works meh
@@Naxistb it pretty much works anywhere that doesn't have anywhere for mobs to spawn on

@@Bread011 yeah guessed that but too lazy to light up
Just wanna comment and say that this guide is well edited, easy steps (the 2 punch to the snowmen!), no annoying VO, nice and short and tells you exactly the materials you need. I only had to make one trip back to base and it was because of a snowman that jumped straight into the firepit.
And I thought it was clickbait but no this thing is literally spitting out 2000+ gunpowder an hour for me

Came for the farm but holy hell, this has to be the best put together MC tutorial I've ever seen. Editing is immaculate and level of ease to follow is outstanding. Really like the above angles shown as they make it much easier to follow especially since I'm just seeing what itself needs done as a whole alone. Especially like the part with the numbers for the outer ring.
I mean it's not like it's a difficult farm to make but the editing style just makes it that much easier, and it likely translates to bigger more complex farms very well.

Works super well. I built it into the ground of my base. I understood that this would require me to light up the surface ground as well as the surrounding caves, and I did so, with the farm now producing me a good amount of gunpowder.
mine isnt working when i did the same, all surrounding caves and surface have been lit up but no creepers are spawning. Is ur afk area exactly 115 blocks up from the farm or somewhere around there? Or is there anything else you did to make sure the creepers spawned?

Great farm ❤ afk for like 35 min and got ~8 stacks. One thing tho, after placing everything, creepers were showing up and everything was good then I tried to see what I got in the chests while the farm was still active and creepers could see me, they exploded like half the collections area and all my chest lmao. Solution: I just put glass over the chests next to the hoppers and it worked perfectly 👍. Very pretty farm as well
Planes or normal glass blocks
You need 3 more slabs(7 around bed + 4 in corners to block creepers going to close to snowmans). Also can't skip that near chests you need to spawnproof 6 blocks(you can replace them with bottom slabs). About calculating afk spot height: take your hopper Y coordinate(with F3 targeted block) and count up ~126 blocks to prevent mobs drowned zombies from spawning at night and ruining creeper spawnrate. I think afk spot Y coordinate worth explaining. In other very good farm. Thanks for guide!

Instead of whole blocks as the roof, use slabs, then you won't need to light it up.

@@ericriste164 I have the same problem. Creepers almost don't spawn and instead only spiders. Another thing, the bed placement doesn't work. I had to place it one block higher. Can this make a difference?
Spiders only need 1 block to spawn but they need a clear 3x3 space above that block so make sure the carpet block that from happening
I placed a torch in the middle, illuminating only the few blocks surrounding the snowmen, where the spiders likely spawn, and there are no spiders to kill my snowmen :)
