Jay didn't deserve any of it. Misguided kid with a heart, fucked up by shitty folk around him. I hate this ending, and I'm happy it's better endings. If there's a sequel or DLC I hope this ending isn't canonical
@@juliomillan1016 theres definitely another one. We haven't found out about the debt collectors, grandpa was shot by a random and so much more loose ends. It's definitely going to be episodic like wolf amongst us
What tripped me out is she see people getting shot.. guns thrown around… gun fire and being a hostage. But she only had memories of Jay telling her to be quiet to protect her 🤦🏾♂️ Jay wasn’t really the bad guy unless you went out the way to make him that way
There's a psychological element to this as well. He was the only holt she personally interacted with and connected to during the massacre, and depending on your playthorugh, there are instances where Jay can choose to not save people he otherwise could've due to a twisted sense of family commitments. How you choose to respond to Jay's apology must be entirely driven off of how u built up the gameplay till that point to make real sense.
L ending i got the best ending were zoe met jay at the end and how vanesa stayed with him for 6 years and stuff not having vanessa changes the whole story ending
What triggered the cop to get suspicious and “say two teens in a beige convertible” I did the same choices there and he didn’t get suspicious, just ran the plates and let us go
The dialogue mentioned the dash cam footage of him running over the police officer. So I’m presuming if you didn’t run over the cop but surrendered to the park ranger you’d still end up in prison but he would probably finally get out rather than be executed.
I rolled my eyes every time she talked about her trauma like bruh if it was the bus being rammed into the building or people dying in front of her then I would understand but like it’s been over ten years get over it

I like this ending better he deserved to go to jail. I just hate that it wasn’t really 30 years into the future & there was a lot of un answered questions
You can make him deserve it (shoot Vince, bury that man with his father, kill a cop, run over a cop etc.). In my first playthrough I didn't do any of that and he ended up kinda happy in Canada.
@@TeTeOUgro in my game he definitely deserved it but made it to Canada - kidnapped a child, stole a vehicle, shot a dude in the leg, shot a cop, just to name a few lol. I guess whether “he deserved it” depends on what choices you picked haha.

A sequel or even dlc will be nonsense.
@@manugames92 There will be another one, so much things left unattended
yeah a DLC would make sense cuz of the "books" it'll be book 3. Also wasn't this game supposed to go 30 years into the future instead of 14?
I'll make a video explaining the ending.

jay didnt deserve any of this. im glad i got the best ending
No. But depending on your choices, he is culpable. Don’t agree with execution but life in prison without the possibility of parole? Absolutely.
Same
And Tyler?
Me too, just big Sam die but it's okay we don't know him
@@S0nyTopranohuh life in prison without parole? Lmao he didn’t even kill anyone. Even murders these days don’t get you that sentence

When escaping Salt City, fail QTE.
@@manugames92 which bit is that? not from America but I don’t remember being in salt lake. I just chose it at random instead of saying Arizona

Yes.
what choice exactly triggered jay going to jail and getting executed? him running over the cop or him surrendering to the park ranger?

No, running him over and getting arrested leads to this.

Jay kinda fine without glasses and a haircut
You should see him in the canada ending - he is totally handsome!
How do you even get this ending? All I've ever gotten were good endings with him.
Played threw twice love this game
Poor Jay
Idc about Leland or Vanessa. Vanessa wasn't gonna die and Leland was an old man who lived a long life. Gotta save Jay no matter what lmao
This is friggin gut wrenching. Who got this ending?!
Me
Is Jay 32 here?!
Yes.
I sadly got this ending, i hit the guy with my car, and I didn’t want to hurt the park ranger so I surrendered and sadly got executed
Same.
the comments have bots
Really?
I play the 5 time 😅
Why spoiler in the title?
Well it's a playable criminal, this is a choice game, so not much spoiler by thinking their actions.
It's a possible ending not like it's Canon
That's not the issue.
This is the wrong ending.
Hahaha

Technically it were reignited by Jay's letters.
It also happened to her when she was 6, seeing shit like that this young will stick with you, and jay sending letters brought it back
