For anyone struggling with the Free Bird achievement you have to Wait For Cop when he stops you. If it says Take Him Out or Flee then you have to go back to Chapter 5 and make sure you hotwired the car successfully, otherwise Vanessa's dad will report the vehicle and you'll always be Cornered By Bradley. Hope this helps, happy hunting!

Hmm...set up for a sequel I see, or DLC with additional chapters. Just depends how much story the writers have to tell still. Regardless, I played the game to give Jay the best possible outcome. I truly think he was a victim of his circumstances. His family was absolutely horrid, and yet (at least in my playthrough) I showed compassion, pacifism, and humility. I really enjoyed the game. Will be interested to see how it continues with Zoe.
Just a little update for you Maka and your followers that are following this. My game seems to have Zoe saying to Jay that her dad (Vince) is dead, even though Jay didn't shoot him or anything and it was Zoe that was taken from the motel by the Holts. I carried on to get the Enough is Enough achievement and watched it through to the end, then Stay of Execution popped for me, so either Vince isn't actually dead on my game (but he is not in the ending scenes in front of his business sign; it just goes straight to Michelle' house in the kitchen), or his survival is not a main trigger for this, but Jay definitely didn't kill anyone in my game. I was also able to get "Free Bird" from this same playthrough. Another great guide Maka, once again thank you as this would have been a lot more annoying having to play through to get all 50 without help. Keep up the hard work
Freebird: I definitely fought Todd in the bedroom, which is how Jay and Vanessa ending up going their separate ways. So, I don't think fighting Todd at the party matters on this one.
Can you still get Stay of Execution if you burried the stranger alive and pleaded da FiF? Cause I did what you said, I started a new game at chapter 5, but I got worried when the FBI guy started asking about that. But I stayed silent and played it out and still got Free Bird. Wonder if it will also work for stay of execution
@Maka91Productioms I did chapter 4 but I didn’t reveal the cabin and the end I went my separate ways with Vanessa so I’m gonna be alone and end up meeting the ranger and if I surrender and they start executing him will he die?.. he didn’t kill nobody

Just letting you know that Vince died in the car accident in my original playthrough (Chapter 2) and I was still able to get all the achievements. That was the only thing I messed up though. I never killed anyone, I swear! :o
I buried the guy in Chapter 3 but still got Stay of Execution. in my play through i wasn't questioned by the FBI so perhaps that crime went unknown to the authorities?
Use auto gen to guarantee this getting him of death row just do this you will see the ranger dont surrender as he will let you go instead run away dont kick his leg out get arrested then as zoe empathy Jay you should see the phone ring

As stated in the video, working on shortcuts to post in comments. I believe you can auto-generate a chapter 5, deny everything to the FBI agent, don't fight todd, ditch vanessa, and you'll be able to grab Freebird and Stay of Execution on this save. Still testing some stuff though.
@@Maka91Productions if you auto generate and get caught in chapter six you can get stay of execution but for free bird you have to play through chapter 5 don’t fight Todd ditch Vanessa in the nicest way possible meaning do everything to make them fall in love but but when it gives the voice of its to dangerous choose that option then when you come across the police checkpoint choose to wait for the officer you also have to successfully Hotwire the car or else the father will take a picture of your car along with of course denying everything to the FBI agent. However a stark warning you must complete a qte when you arrive at the park to jump a log as it will freeze the game
Same, he obviously got mixed up in something in Two Rock 15 years ago that set everything in motion. He also was the one to suggest they go through two rock while on the road trip. Eager to see what they do for DLC.
3 times i have played for the free bird achievement, and nothing i done everything on your segment for it and your pinned clip and im just getting the fbi everytime.
I'm pretty sure that the FBI also corner you in the national park if you fail the QTE's while hot wiring the car in Chapter 5; this gives Vannessa's father enough time to report the car to the police and no matter what you do you can't get the park ranger with either of the sobriety checkpoint crossroads. The option to kill him won't meet the requirements and fleeing just notifies the FBI of your whereabouts and then they corner you in the national park. You have to successfully complete the QTE's to hot wire the car to get the other sobriety checkpoint crossroads to flee or wait for the cop. Otherwise, you can't get it.
You can do freebird and stay of execution using auto-gen chapter 5. As stated in the video, I would update the comments if I found a faster way to grab them. 👍👍
I don't think any content creator has this game nailed for a walkthrough tbh, too many mistakes from everyone. Appreciate the work put in from everyone but it's rushed and not an easy completion.

You can also get the almost made it achievement by running by the park ranger and failing all QTE’s

I can confirm that Michelle surviving and not fighting Todd is not required for the Free Bird and Stay of Execution Achievements.
