The old roteries are a hand full but in the end after working and working on them it pays off my dad used to have an rx4 with a 12a and it screemed down the road after 3 years of working on it
Very good result! Saw works much more better with these changings. Have a 440e II with 15" X-Force bar and X-Cut chain. I adjusted it very good but it could have also more power. Saw the piston isn't opening the exhaust port fully. Don't know if I have a bad oem cylinder or if it is so on this type.
I have a question if you see this . I have a husqvarna 460 and it came with a 0.50 gauge chain ( 20in ) . Could I run a 0.58 gauge chain on it or do I have to change anything around ?
Hi , I have a stihl 041 non av or farmboss. Its a old saw. Not sure of year. I am going to be using it for milling. What do you recommend doing to it to get more out of it ? As far as I know it has never had anything done to it. I love it I know it heavy n doesn't have all the features of new saw. But it suits me fine. I just wanna hop it up to get the most out it I can. Thanks
I just took a chance today and brought home a new 562 and one of these 543xp's.. After seeing the Stock throttle response of this video, it kinda reminds me of the brand new but lame MS260 that was beyond disappointing to me about 12 yrs ago.. With the $640 CDN I paid today for this MIJ Redmax, im wondering what your feelings are now since you've owned it for awhile and also made a few changes?? so you've adjusted squish, and did you open up exhaust or not?? What else have you done or could you suggest {maybe you'll suggest to get ssomething else instead} This saw is to hopefully replace the 421 Dolmars ive been using as my Tree Service ground saw, and other than the last 3 of 4, 421's Ive owned and intermittent lean condition at idle, I love the little Dolmar, but in no way reliable and sad because the little 421 power to weight ratio is the best ive seen, but if they don't run right they have no place on my truck.. I'm hoping this little husky wont be a disappointment.. Please share if you will Mweba
Can’t believe it’s been 7yrs since my previous comment but I have to admit the 562xp has been an amazing saw and once the 543xp sure woke up after about 8-10tanks of fuel and an exhaust mod. I liked the 543 so much I went and bought another new one that’s still in the box
@@smokedubs if you can even find a new 543xp, they’re great little saws. I’ve not heard much good about the longevity of the 372x torque but if you can find an original they were one of the best saws ever made.
@@mweba1 I have a 440e and was looking to upgrade to a pro quality 40cc class saw and came across the 543XP. After just seeing the price their selling for, FORGET THAT! I can buy the 501P for roughly $100 less and even the 620P for the same price as the 543XP.
wow,Husqvarnas are cheap in the US,here in Sweden where the company has Been since 1689 that saw costs $700+,i'll probably stick with my 1985 238g until it seizes up.....
Really like your video on this saw. Up here in Canada they are going for about $650-700$. Really would like one of these :)
I waited this video a lot from you
cuts pretty good for a wittle guy I hate the easy start DOLMAR saws too. I appreciate your videos by the way keep it up!😀

my 543xp g took about 5 tanks before it started to run right. had similar symptons like yours

How does this compare to the Stihl MS-241CM?

True to form. Good work Mitch.

What were you getting for horse power after completion?
Have you worked on a Husqvarna 576xpg??
Here in Europe this saw cost about 745$ USD!

@@FYMM69 Amazing you came back lol. Deciding if I should get one of these 543s or save and get the 372.

Wish they would drop price around 50 bucks
The Redmax version is typically cheaper. Made in Japan.
Would you pick an echo than this?
Yes. 501p is superior in my eyes.

What does the rotor and housing in the back go to
1986 RX7 13b. An apex seal cracked at 9k room, taking out the housing.
What tach are you using in this video?
nkcwilliams oppama

is the 238g still running?
What's the deal with Husq using a grayed out clutch cover looks stupid to me..
Whats the big deal ? Does the saw have to be all orange or chrome? GGGG wow!
sorry but for me it looks like the cheap chinese saws have verry symilar parts
At 580.00 ( as of 11/14/22) For a little more , I'd buy the 550xp m2 , 11 lb 4 hp .
IN MY OPINION IT LOOKS LIKE A CHINESE CHEAP SAW SORRY
