brilliant. a glimpse of another time in motor racing. I really enjoyed the footage of the competitors racing on the high speed oval section.

Thanks. You are absolutely right. If only I'd known at the time that it would be the last time they raced on the banking, I'd have filmed much much more of it. Still, better than nothing..

Thanks for the comment. You cen see Brian in a few more films. In Imola interserie part 1 you can see the scars he had (has) around the eyes, legacy of the crash he had with Porsche 908/3 at the Targa Florio. He'll be seen again in my Vallelunga 6 Hours when he was Ferrari works driver. I'll be posting it at some stage in the not to distant future

Yep, filmed personally with a cine camera not camcorder. No sound untill 1970 when I built a system to record sound. I put some music on this film but youtube have taken it out cos of copyright.
