- This is how I fixed the ABS ESP error on my Peugeot 308. This should work for all modern french cars in theory.
A little different to my usual videos but it incorporates some lathe work.
OMG my 2012 Pug expert has this error and I've never found a fix. I'll be pulling off the back wheels tomorrow to see if this is where the errors stem from 🙏👍👌 Cheers 🇦🇺

Fixed? I have a Jumpy and the esp failior is sometimes on...
great vid but that disc is completely shot, heavily scored and massive lip...but in terms of replacing the reluctor ring, good stuff
My Citroen C5, just today, threw esp/asr fault at the exact moment the fuel low indication came on. After that auto trannie started to change in a weird fashion. I found some suggestion that this strange phenomenon happens sometimes. After refueling indeed everything was back to normal. No fault. Gearbox switching gently. Great relief but this correlation is somehow disturbing.

I understand de porpose of the vídeo but very worn disk and brake pads and put a new magnetic ring i think it was better to put a pair of disks and brake pads with new rings and you will solve that problem for many miles.. Just my opinion...😉

As well as this issue i am seeing oil running down what i assume is the heat shield for the turbo i've read that it could be due to not being serviced which it hasn't in 3yrs. Would that be a correct assessment or is the turbo likely to give up pretty soon?
This is awesome - my citreon ds4 is doing exactly the same thing with the grinding of the brakes under 30mph once i go to that it stops. Don't think i have the capacity to do all that but at least i know what the issue is now thanks a heap

Well good fix but looking at the disc it is so scored I would have personally replaced it or a very least faced it off on the lathe,

I changed the control arms, struts and drive shafts on my Peugeot 2010 t7 308, Now the ABS /ESP warning lights show on the dash, No issue prior.. Any ideas??
Possibly hit the abs sensor while working on it

It's not always your abs sensor peugeot 3008 and 5008 throw them codes up for other faults just had my sensor done and still throwing the same codes up.Mine was pdf filter and egr valve which I'm going down the road of delete then no more problems. Thanks for the video though.
How would the dpf and egr be connected to abs?

Hello, i have the same issue but by me the speedometer is not working, and the parking sensor and the seat belts are not rinning. And sometimes it fixed by it self for a couple of days and then the same issue! Can you or someone else help me?
This would be error U0415 fault in abs/esp or electric parkimg parking brake on a diagbox or diagnostic. How do you determine which one on your oppinion ? I have that error code but dont want to strip disks off..I have to admit the electric brake applies on and off ok but i still get the error message..Also how would you know of if its just the abs sensor behind tne hub instead?
U fault it a can bus fault
Changed my discs and pads on rear and then brought new ring abs sensors still getting the faults up even after driving and trying to clear with a basic ob2 reader. Any advice how to clear before I take it the garage
How did you do it?
Probably too late but it's often the brake contact that's faulty.

I have the same fault changed the faulty sensor and pick up ring but fault remains

Didn't think I needed them. Still have the same ones no issues. Passed the MoT
Is it really worth all that effort to save £100? when the new disc would take 10 minutes to change.

I have that. I cant do it myself ( I am a lady of her certain age) :) Is it ok to drive as the man who fixes my car is a long way away
Yeah I was able to drive it fine. It just means you have no traction control so no speeding in the rain!

I have a lathe, I have done the same repair, didnt use the lathe though, its easy enough to pry the old ring off with a big screwdriver.
How do you know which wheel?
You have to remove the wheel and look with a torch at the magnetic ring and look for any missing magnets.

That is just whats wrong with your car, all four wheels have abs/esp sensors
