I really wish the soft power of UK international aid could be reinstated to a greater level. Businesses here could so benefit supplying its technology and expertise for energy, transport, infrastructure and education.
The Labour party only makes cosmetic changes? What about the NHS and the welfare state? Sure they can be regarded as concessions, but concessions that make life-changing difference to people's lives. What's the alternative?
I believe evolution has endowed most people with the ability to sniff out a liar or a truthful person simply by intuition. And my intuition tells me that these men can be trusted.
At 9 minutes in kennard says smashing up of media hardware would be expected in China. What story is he referring to here? China understandably has a tight control over its media operations thanks to the US and the imperial project. Would be good if declassified could relay more accurate stories about china. Otherwise this is a useful and informative interview.
That tells you about the limit of British citizen's freedom and feeling for it. I never heard British criticise it's government or system with no attacking someone else's. It's characteristic to all English speaking, English influenced countries. One could ask himself if it's coming from simple genetic misanthropy or fear of persecution, so uses it as an out of prison card. No wonder that national hero of lefties is George Orwell, the guy who traded 135 souls for the wealth.
