All these strikes are a sign the foundations of a civil society are starting to crumble in the UK. For a functioning society, the 4 pillars are Health, Education, Transportation and Housing. These are the basics people need to build a stable life on. Health, Education, Transportation workers are all going on strike and housing has been ridiculous for the last 30 plus years

It's the Tory ideology. The idea that the most successful/wealthy should be catered to as they create the most wealth, is simply wrong. They see corporation tax as the worst punishment that should be avoided instead of realizing they benefit the most from it. Having a healthy, well educated/skillful, workforce that has the freedom to travel and live anywhere, is the best thing for growth. Only another society like that could compete with it.
If you place profit as the best thing possible, then any and all means possible will be used to obtain it. That's where the corruption comes from.

Lowkey is right. Power won't give the working-class nothing, but a backhanded slap - from a well jeweled hand, without sustained pressure. The working -class needs to be reminded that there is a class war. They are losing, the government, corporations and the media are winning. And, worker solidarity can change the outcome.

He did not do his homework on the suffragettes, saying they were not taken seriously until a brick was thrown is absolute nonsense. In fact, they deliberately used all kinds of tactics, anything but violence. It is an insult to that era and people to say that violence was the only thing that worked, as well it is a lie or wilful ignorance because Lowkey ( whoever he is ) wants to incite as that is his bias.
Same with the Poll Tax. It was WEEKS and MONTHS of civil disobedience that ended it, not one day of riot in London. Ansolute twisting of events, as Lowkey does here.

Absolutely amazing interview, I'm no stranger at all to politics or political interviews but there were many things even I wasn't aware of. For some time I have known that Labour under Starmer are basically the establishment B team, just being prepped to take over the continued managed decline of the country and the NHS, but Lowkey really expanded on that with a lot of information that I wasn't aware of. I met Len McCluskey 2 years ago when he spoke about the failure of the PLP, he expanded on the speech in this interview. ua-cam.com/video/W_y5cIZsr1g/v-deo.html The establishment was absolutely terrified by how close Corbyn and McDonald's Labour came to power, and have spared no energy and effort to continuously defame, discredit and de-platform them ever since. An inclusive, more egalitarian, social democratic government with the will to enact truly transformative policies scared the shit out of the grifters and neo-feudalists that have been busy putting all the social advances fought for by our ancestors back into the box.

True story. A small cottage hospital was earmarked for closure in the late 20th century by the NHS. The NHS estates team ploughed ahead with this plan believing it was financially sound. They were unaware it was the possession of an elderly person still living. When the news came to the owner a legal cease and desist was placed. Documents to support ownership were produced which stated the hospital, built independently on private land, was given for the benefit of the community alone. The existing hospital was incorporated into the national health scheme some time later but legal ownership was still in the hands of the private individual. The right to sell any part of it required the owners express agreement which was not given in this case.
Question must be asked regarding NHS estates:- How many hospitals or what proportion of the land is the property of private individuals who believed in the right of others to access healthcare? How many people are unaware they may be legal owners of these historic sites where the NHS did not buy either the land or the building but was given each until such time as they were no longer required by the community in which they stand / stood? How many families can petition for the right to have the land and building revert to their ancestral ownership?
Interestingly many churches under the banner of a national organisation e.g. Church of Scotland or Church of England, were the joint ownership of the landowner and the community. Where I grew up, in the late 1800's the community entered into a partnership with the landowner to building a church and later a hall which served for functions and religious support. Some time later the Church of Scotland came into being and the community agreed to be part of this wider network for pulpit supply. Historical ownership remained in the hands of the community and landowner who had paid to raise a building on land donated by the landowner . Yet churches have been sold for private development possibly because the 'Organisation' believed it was legally owned by them.
So, we should ask how much community property is still in the public domain having been the joint investment and property of the community and landowner with the legal paperwork in the possession of the landowners lawyers. Knowing the answers to these questions changes the balance of power in a small way.

I found all the paperwork which proved otherwise and gathered together all the details of odd pieces of land and buildings. Great interview with your guest, it's heart warming to hear someone who can explain their points intellectually and has looked down the rabbit hole and seen the disgusting corruption of our establishment class. Time to make the change we want to see in the world - to not do so would be pure cowardice and an insult to our children.

People like this should be in politics, university students no matter which background, who are just good human beings, who want the best for their nation and the world at large.
Western politics is fixed. It is a script, chosen rich people whose kids get to go to Eton, it's a disgrace.

Lowkey was absolutely spot on about the music industry. As an Independent working class artist it’s nigh on impossible to try and make any kind of living from releasing your own Music. I’ve had 10s of thousands of streams and I can’t even recoup the cost to make it…so the middle class artists and the larger labels are able to flood the Industry. It’s tough out there so respect to all of the Independent artists/bands/songwriters just trying to get by ✊🏻

i been in the Music industry a long long time, I have the utmost respect for ALL musicians, artists, small & big, mostly the small independent artists, because it is a very hard sector to break into & be sucessful at the same time. Not everyone can do it day in & day out all year round. So i give a big thumbs up to Joe here who shairs a passion, or view that i have. That is exposing these corrupt politicians & corporations for what they are. I have NEVER EVER voted for any major party since 1994. Why? Obviously because, doesn't matter who you vote for, the same policies & corruption will always be in place.
I have been living in UK since i was born just like Joe here, i am disgusted, angry even, that these burgiouse pricks in Downing Street, have messed up the entire country for everyone else.
Theres one thing i have noticed as well. Somthing that i didn't know before. When a PM of UK resigns or finishes thier term, they are entitled to a large lump sum of money, in the hundreds of thousands of pounds, whilst the rest of us, are struggling to make ends meets, take for instance NHS staff, nurses who can't even afford to feed their damn families, who have dedicated organisations which hand out food to NHS staff, what does this say about this entire country?
Its completely broken across the board, many sectors are now facing extreme trouble, the foundations of this entire country is no longer there, all it will take is a gust of wind to blow it all away, & the country will fall & crumble. The only thing thats keeping this entire country moving is us, the masses of slaves working away, toiling away to support this so called "Democracy".
I always joke to my collegues calling this country a "Plutocracy". If we look at the facts of this entire country, it basically is a Plutocracy & NOT a Democracy. This country is a complete joke.
And these idiot politicians we have in UK think we can implement our targets of CO2 emmisions by the year 2030?
They''re all in dream land, la la land, living in their own bubble, outside of reality.
The level of politicians we have in UK currently is a complete disgrace to the word democracy.
With how things are currently heading towards in 2023 in UK, things are starting to boil & people simply can't take it anymore, sooner or later, the pitch forks are gonna come out & people will want blood, all theese burgiouse idiot UK politicians will be running for the hills to escape, but theres no escape for them this time, no this time people have had enough of their antics & WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND REAL change, or else we will bring the country to a complete standstill by PEOPLE POWER. These burguoise pricks are nothing without us the people, we give them their power, their wages, we have let them take advantage of us all for so long, but NOT ANYMORE!!!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I think a large part of the issue is politicians get into politics not to make this country better, to work for the people, no. They get into politics to gain the power and clout to take payments from industry, to land consultant roles, to lobby. They get into politics for the shady money. Look at Nick Clegg’s package now for example.
I can’t trust politicians who get into politics for politics sake. But if fall into it because you want to make the country better for the people then I salute you 🫡
