- Hiking and camping on Lille Malene after a long day of work, just to get away from the comfortable life we otherwise enjoy here in Nuuk.
My soft bed was replaced with a 5cm thick sleepingpad and my house with an MSR tent. Somtimes its good to get into the wild, experience uncomfortable things, just to appreciate what we have in our modern society. This is Nuuk Extreme Camping!

Awesome video Alex especially in the depths of the cold wind. Pretty peaceful there with loneliness of excitement was brilliant in silent as hear is winds. And making it up a nice hot cuppa of coffee!

The aparment is already rented out, so a tour is currently not possible😄

Btw, one of the reasons why I have been dreaming to go to Greenland is to have a magical experience... To see the Northern Lights. Hope to see it in one of your videos soon!!!

Northern light wont be happening anytime soon, but maybe in september when the darkness returns again. Its pretty much light all the time now😄

@@sheilamaytrasmonte5284 Yes there is, you only need darkness (preferably being at a location without too much background lighting) and to check the KP index ( you can find apps for that), then your chances of northern lights are high.

There is something weirdly cozy about the idea of lying in a tent while the cold near-arctic wind's just howling outside. Even if it's still all kinds of cold

Hi Ansh, I havent been ALL places in Greenland so it would be biased towards the places I have been:-) But a good idea that I will consider!

It takes a special kind of person, to enjoy living here. So not sure I would recommend it to anybody😅
