Great video Alyn, loved the interaction with yhe Beetle and the camera made him glow as he scampered off too. Good deal you got on the accommodation with pool access included!
@@patrickobrien8902 Thanks Pat! Those beetles are so cool and just beautiful. The campsite was a good one. Great views and really flat (pool access was extra though😂).
Hi Alyn, So the top tip is !!!!! pack a midge net and your speedos ?? An invigorating dip to start your day Alyn. That pool looked deep as well. You looked like you enjoyed your trip. It goes to prove that you don't have to go up to the highest point to enjoy a night on the mountains. An enjoyable watch. All the best👍
I totally agree Andrew. Even a walk in the valleys is a tonic. I have only just started swimming in the rivers and falls and it is a game changer. Its a great way to start the day of walking. I'm done with midges! I have tried every potion and poison and although a few of them work, nothing works better than long sleeves and the head net! lol
Great video mate! Lovely little walk with some great views. I agree with all the tips! That dip looked cold but refreshing! 😁🥶. Great camping spot and lovely tent too. I'll not get into the leave no trace tip, it's the easiest one to follow but the hardest one for some people to do, which really infuriates me.
Alyn, I wanted to say how much I admire your oratory skills-you're such a natural presenter. I often find myself wishing I could present even half as well as you do. You also strike me as the kind of person who’d be fantastic to chat with around a campfire-just great company. I recently ran into Geoff Greenaway, who’s also a really lovely guy-a true gem of a person. Maybe someday our paths will cross too. The hiking community really is special, full of wonderful people. Though I have to say, it does seem a step above the trail running crowd (just kidding) 🤣.
@@footslogger_ni Aw mate that is so kind. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Some people would say I just have a big mouth 😄 🤣😂 I love being in the mountains and I love showing people what its like up there so making videos is just a lot of fun. And I'm a total hoot round the campfire!!!😅 Especially when smores are on the menu.

I've seen tents in that area in the past, looks smashing!
