Well, not just that but a lot of high street jewellers won't necessarily know how to either, and it's going to be quite costly to send to a specialist.
Hi, thank you for your video. I own a Weishi 1900 timegrapher and it works great for hobbiest/enthousiasts, they also seem to be accurate enough for that purpose (i'm a hobbiest watchmaker). And a lot better affordable than the (very) expensive Swiss Witschi brand. I see a lot of other youtuber watchmakers use the Weishi's aswell.
It's quite difficult for me to convey on video because my sound recording equipment just isn't good enough, but on a quiet day you could hear this quite clearly from the next room. There's no way it should be that loud surely?
I'd be amazed if anyone had ever paid their actual RRP that's for sure. A lot of their stuff is homage based and over-designed, but they do have a couple of models that are genuinely quite good just a little too big for me - The Simple Tourbillon features in some of the imagery of this video, the one that has a completely plain dial, which is very H.Moser & Cie in style. The other one is the Gooseneck Automatic, which seems to have a really well finished movement for the price and has some decent styling compared to most of their output. I believe both are 42mm which is too big for me, but I would definitely have bought the simple tourbillon over mine if it were smaller and comparative in price.
That depends on how You think uppon this topic... For example: Servicing an automatic Omega watch cost you around 800. That should last for let's say 7 years. A chinese Sugess/Seagull tourbillon cost around 600 on Amazon. Including 3 years total waranty against every damage. So - for the price of the service you get 1-2 new tourbillon watches from China. Which could last let's say 7 years when using it regularely.
Times have changed now! Chinese have UP their Horology game. Their Tourbillon and other automatic unique timepieces are of high quality and workmanship. Experienced myself.
For less than $250 I can’t complain about my Aesop. I love staring at it and the bracelet feels sturdy and is very high quality
Why not...of course for this price we dont have to hope a very long life but who know,we can have good sorprise
I like the noise it makes -bit like a small motorcycle engine...
Quality build is lowest if the lowest.
"Instead of servicing it, buy a new one"

Thank you very much for this, I'll be looking into it
Ailang:A.Lange lol. Took me a minute to see what they were doing.
Great review thank you
Well I have 4 Chinese tourbillons so far and I’m happy.
Shame you didn't mention the 3 axis giga tourbillon - JLC have some amazing ones.
Defo a great item to have, just to hold
Yes. Should buy one, bec Chinese make it affordable for everyone❤
The first question should be: should i buy a Tourbillon? And when you have good reasons for it you could go on with: would a Chinese one do?
The noise has nothing to do with the build quality it’s because it’s a 28,800bph high beat.

What are your opinions on the brand Haofa?

It's a "Sea-Gull" movement, so it's fine.
Hmmm, and then comes the day when it needs it's first servicing....
🤣

The idea of Chinese designed and manufactured luxury goods makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
