    He was a villain and source of East Pakistan 🇵🇰 separation. During World War II in Burma he was declared a coward by his senior officers for making excuses for not going in the front to fight the Japanese army. It’s very unfortunate for Pakistan 🇵🇰 to have clowns like Sheriffs and their kinds to have ruled our beloved country who only ruined it for their own greed. 🐍🔥🐍🔥😡

      Yes, only temporary benefit.
      Democracy with all it's clumsiness and inefficiencies is still the best option long term as proven time and time again.
      Authoritarian governments are thriving in the gulf countries. However, this is only feasible (almost necessary) because in those countries the control and management of land-based assets is everything.
      Democracy is the requirement of skilled labor, who need to collaborate and create value instead of just mining/drilling/farming.

    After the retirement of Gen Sir Douglas gracey,.Instead of Gen Ayub khan,It was Gen Ishraqul Majid who was initially nominated by nomination committee for the post of COAS of Pakistan army as a native Pakistani. But despite being the most deserving and senior eligible army professional than Gen Ayub. Gen Majid was finally disapproved by Prime minister Liaqat ali khan and defense secretary Iskander Mirza, cause he was a Bengali . If Gen. Majid was became coas that time the history and reality of Pakistan and Indian subcontinent would be very different now. Best wishes from Chittagong, Bangladesh.

    Thanks for a well researched documentary on AK's ambitious power grab.
    I remember, as a school boy, I thought he was a great patriot who would take Pak to great heights - economic progress was evident everywhere. My views began to change during the 1964 elections. The mudslinging against Miss Jinnah's person, the rigged BD vote & the post-election riots in Karachi; all convinced me that he was not a good man. Miss Jinnah's unsolved murder was a national tragedy & the finger pointed at him. By 1967 a lot of my classmates had turned against him & student hartals become a regular feature. That was the year we knew he would fall.
    I give him credit for quitting when he did without turning his guns on us students.

    The irony is that Jinnah's own words were a negation of parliamentary democracy, within which the Governor-General is a symbolic representative of the monarch, and all actual authority is supposed to reside with the Prime Minister and Parliament. Of course, he said this because he had chosen to become GG himself, he couldn't tolerate anyone being even a symbolic superior, and thus he himself delivered the first blow to Pk democracy.

      M A jinnah was a leader chosen by people my friend not installed by someone other power. Your statement can be true about sikandar mirza
      Pakistan dont even have a constitution by that time, so power resides with a person who people vote for

    • @eleghari
      @eleghari 8 місяців тому +1

      Correct. Let's not forget a Governor General is an agent of the King, representing his interests.
      Here is the oath he took:
      "I, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, do solemnly affirm true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of Pakistan as by law established and that I WILL BE FAITHFUL TO HIS MAJESTY KING GEORGE VI, in the office of Governor General of Pakistan."

    • @eleghari
      @eleghari 8 місяців тому +1

      When talking about Jinnah, one must also remember:
      1: August 1946's 'Day of Action' perpetrated by Jinnah and his All-India Muslim League that started the communal rioting/slaughter.
      2: His rejection of Bengali as an official language in March 1948 that I believe sowed the seeds for 1971.
